What significance to the colors pink and blue have in Irish culture? [ex. the song 'Galway Races']?

the pink, the blue, the orange, the green....the emblem of our nation....

I have no idea, I didn't know pink or blue were important. I only acknowledge green, all other colours are obsolete.

It's talking about the colours of the jockeys. The last 2 colours are orange and green, so then it says "the colours of our nation" about those colours. Pink and blue don't have any significance.
