why is it that ppl think that showin pride is wrong and y is it that black ppl show more hate towards Latinos more than whites
y do u show hate at all we never did anything 2 u but show pride
i have seen alot of ppl stck their noses in the air thinkin that shows pride
guess what it f*c*in doesnt it comes across as snotty and bitchy
u have so many flaws just by ur self alone let alone ur race so y must u pick on Latinos like me. and come up with a good answer and not some cheap S***

I'll start off by saying that I am not trying to make light of what those people who were enslaved went through, and I recognize that it was a very bad thing that occurred.

The intent of this question is to ask why it is that presentday African-Americans feel so strongly towards the enslavement of their ancestors. That is something that I can not understand. I could understand being angered by being enslaved oneself or having a close family member or friend enslaved, but ones ancestors are none of these things. In being angry and cursing those who did it, they are failing to recognize that had their ancestors not been enslaved, they probably never would have been born, and their ancestors and their present day descendants would probably still be living in Africa.

Personally, I can't say that I would care if my ancestors had had to endure some hardships so that I could have a better life in a better country (though I don't even like my living relatives much).

Your thoughts?

I really don't like highschool. Getting up early, and leaving in the later afternoon, 5 days a week doesn't make any sense to me. Of course, I appreciate my education, yet alot of the stuff we learn in highschool, will just stay in highschool. When are we ever going to see a Algebra equation, or a chemistry formula? I mean, yes, math is important, but so many of the things we learn in higschool won't matter in 6 years, except for those who are going to pursue something in the medical or engineering field. Yes, I love that we have English. I think English is one of the most important skills you need to have, but math. Wow, Oh math, it's making my GPA SOOO LOW. I hate it! I'm just not really a higschool person, I AM GOING TO LOVE COLLEGE THOUGH, ALTHOUGH, WILL COLLEGES SEE MY GPA AND AUTOMATICALLY NOT EVEN CONSIDER ACCEPTING ME? I WANT TO GO TO MINNESOTA TECHNICAL INSTITUTE AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

How come some aren't allowed to marry Japanese people? Aren't they all the same race but just different ethnicities? Can anyone tell me why they aren't allowed to marry Japanese people? Also I hear that their parents would examine Japanese people more carefully. Can anyone tell me why?

Unless you are completely naive you have heard that some strippers offer "vip" services in the back rooms of some establishments. Would that not be considered prostitution and make them and anyone associated with them a whore? ok so at the moment I dont know whats up, in the past 6 months I have had 4 bags stolen, the last time being in a yoga centre (triyoga) in london (it was my gift to myself to go to a class as I am very poor/in debt as I work minimum wage) and my clothes were stolen. (nice) had a 2 hour journey back home at 10pm(freezing minus 2 degrees temperature) and also waited 45 mins for my delayed bus to arrive.

I dont know whats going on, I had just finished work, I try to be the best person I can, I dont steal, I dont say nasty things to people, I try to be a good person but over the past year (not just the 4 seprate bag incidents) I have been shatted on and screwed over with luck, like I arrive at the bus stop and whatever time I arrive, I have jsut missed the bus/tube/dlr train and have to wait 10 mins or an hour for the next one ...I could go on...
I am trying my hardest to grasp every opportunity but its all going pear shaped, I am just wondering, does karma actually exist?

I asked the question on why more white people don't take classes on racism while in college. Someone then asked me why I singled out white people. Firstly, history speaks for itself. Secondly, her response speaks to her ignorance and need for the class. She also said something about her generation not having anything to do with what went on during slavery. Well, I'm afraid that racism took place much more recent than the slavery period. I don't know how old she, but I can see why she doesn't want to be held accountable for her ancestor's actions. Black folks certainly are having to live with their ancestor's legacy. This is what is meant by "supreme thinking."

Recently I have seen two girls smoking in a cafe. I liked the site. If we think positively, it demonstrates their courage and confidence to defy the societies norms.
