it completely depends on the spectator how he accepts the scene.

Well, every situation is different, but the way I understand repentance from a Christian standpoint (hey, you gotta admit JC was a cool guy even if the "religion" went haywire since he died)... If she truly repents, that is, apologizes and makes a sincere effort to do better, then you should forgive her. Forgiveness might not extend to staying married, though. Forgiveness might not be enough to salvage a relationship, so don't get it twisted. Forgiveness is basically saying that what happened in the past is resolved and it's not going to be an issue in the relationship anymore. But if a partner is just too hurt, it's possible to forgive the straying partner but say, hey, you gots to go. Personally, I think it's f*cking ridiculous how many people leave relationships without bothering to fix the problems that caused the relationship to fall apart. They don't look into why the relationship failed, either with an eye towards repairing it or avoiding that mistake in the future. People generally avoid introspection, especially when they're wrong. So these dolts go through extremely nasty divorces (which is strange, considering they usually weren't half that hostile before they decided to split up. Go figure.) Then, they figure, well, I'm out of THAT relationship, so the next one will be fine, as though the relationship was the problem. But wherever you go, there you are. So they find themselves married again, making the same mistakes, and now you see why 2nd (and 3rd, and so on...) marriages fail even more than 1st marriages. You don't solve problems by running away. Now, personally, I don't know that I could stand to stay married to someone who cheated on me--I think cheating is one of the vilest, most hateful things you can do to another person. It's a truly cruel betrayal. But therapy, whether marriage counseling or individual therapy, should be the next logical step in most troubled marriages. Therapy can help you sort out if your marriage is salvageable or if you'd really be happy if you sorted out your own problems and went your separate ways. But therapy is so much work (whine, whine)! Most people refuse to put that much effort into a relationship that they figure is doomed anyway. But if you don't put work into a relationship, you WILL fail at it, and every relationship in the future, until you figure out what's causing the failure. If there isn't active fraud or abuse, then give therapy a go. It might be a better idea to fix a broken relationship than to go on to break more.

I think the sight is highly unattractive (I'm being polite), and I tend to think that people who smoke are not terribly bright.
What do you think of people who set fire to their bodies? Perhaps if we think positively, it demonstrates their courage and confidence to defy the societies (sic) norms.
Serial killers defy society's norms, as well. Do you find them attractive?
Do you see the flaw of your logic? It sounds like you have a smoking fetish.

I used to smoke occasionally. I felt cool, independent, highly sociable, but at the end of the day I didn't like my breath.
Now I don't and when I see a sight of a woman smoking, I feel bad for her coz I know for a fact she doesn't have a sweet smelling breath. I also hate to be around her (smoking at that time or not) because the smell of the smoke lingers.

God I miss nicotine. I miss the smell of it on my fingers. I miss the feel of smoke billowing back and forth to and from my lungs. I miss the feeling of that first puff after a long day. Smoking was so great.
And I gave it up. When I see a girl smoking, the first impression I get is that she's too weak-willed to break the addiction, and THAT is a total turnoff.

Depends on the situation. If the people either girl/boy was smoking next to me I would not like it because I don't like to breathe second hand smoke.
2nd Scenario is when boy/girl smoke away from me and not next to me. If they are of legal age to smoke then it is their choice not mine. My opinion matters not because it is their bodies if they wish to inhale carbon dioxide.
Sex on the other hand doesn't have much affect to my view. A girl can smoke because it is an independent act and if she is of legal age, I only wish she wouldn't because it is bad for their health.
Boys I feel the same about because they can if they are of legal age or is legal then fine. I only hope they quit also because it is dangerous.
Cultural norms and values in society conditions our minds to think smoking is not ladylike. A long time ago it was seen as a sign of masculinity because there used to be smoking bars and cigar parties between men. But that has changed.
I wish only boys and girls would not smoke because it can be hazardous to your health.

Having a cigarette hanging from the lips of a woman does not do anything to improve the looks. Just dealing with the appearance is enough for me to not ask a tobacco smoking lady out. Then there is the smell of old tobacco on clothing.......

I think smoking is not good either for female or male.Smoking means making a deteriorate of his/her own healthy and another persons(passive smoker) who sit beside him/her while he/she is smoking.Smoking will make a poluted air.In line with a health research, smoking will give negative impact to
(1)high blood tension (2)lung cancer (3)premature abortion for pregnant woman (4)family spending (5)other diseases.
According to a doctor, more nicotine will enter into the lung of passive smoker than into the active smoker..

As a smoker myself, I think they should have been taken outside the cafe to a back alley, and beaten senseless. Either that, or I would have offered to buy them a drink at another establishment. Your choice.

When I see a girl/women smoking I think she is either low class, high class, a hoar, a virgin, a lonely single woman, a happily married CEO, a total addict, a frivolous spender, an alcoholic, a con artist, a school teacher, an artist, deep, naive, unhealthy, on a diet, a coffee lover, foreign, self-destructive, unhygienic, classic, a joke, daring, ordinary...
I don't drawn conclusions based on particulars...
