yeah seven dust is a great band...but i guess its a liitle weird, but perhaps uncommon is the right word...i mean i love that kind of music(metal) most emo pl dont like metal, they like that whiney rockish music...i personally think emo is a joke, just another label...i have seen black emo's(not while i was in highschool) but they are just kids following the trend...however lame it is...
the person who said they will listent o anything abt ripping ppl's limbs...then you might as well like rap, b/c that music is promoting violence too...its one thing to like heavy music(like thunderous guitars, smashing drums, growling voice...etc), its another to like violent music....

Of course not! I used to work in this bar/music venue that got a lot of metal shows, and emo shows, and rap shows, and everything else. I never saw a crowd that was entirely white or entirely black at any event. In fact, at the emo shows I saw some really cute emo black guys:-) I remember one guy in particular, because I flirted with him a lot. He had his hair in a mohawk, was wearing dark-rimmed glasses, and a lip ring. He had dark torn up jeans, a hoodie with a jean-jacket over it, and some awesome kicks! Yeah, obviously I was looking him up and down a lot :-)
But seriously, don't stereotype yourself! There are plenty of racists out there who will do it for you, and we all know where those people can go :-)

No...I don't think so.
And during the 90s, I was into hip-hop alot...but I also loved grunge music during that period.
What I found in the alternative music scene were alot of open-minded people. I never met a racist during concerts or parties. I went to a Korn concert and it was all good...no one looked at me crazy. They bought me beer, gave me some weed afterwards, had a great time!
Now, I did go to a country concert with me wife. Very nice people, but some did keep staring at me like I landed from Mars. I felt uncomfortable.

Lots of black people like metal. It's not weird. It's just music. Hendrix (the godfather of all hard rock and heavy metal) was black. So is Slash. People need to recognize!
It's weird for anyone to be emo.

human beings think of its extraordinary through fact culturally blacks pay attention to rap/hip hop/ r&b, yet no longer all. isn't it loopy how human beings assume you to love that crap? it is so ignorant.Im black and that i admire metallic and rock besides.whilst definitely everyone seems to be suprised by ability of it, they strike a twine in me of youngsters who do no longer comprehend something.Im exceedingly valuable little ones and adults know that human beings have diverse personalities lol!

I like all different types of music including metal. I understand your question because even if white people like R&B it's okay but we are judged if we are different than what we are"supposed" to be.

Your race has nothing to do with your personality. You are who you choose to be so be it. Do not let the most insignificant component of the human anatomy (skin color) inhibit you from being who you are. I am black myself but I am who I want to be. And as far as emo goes, whatever race they are, people generally think they're all weird.

Oh come on we dont all fix in boxes...I may like one thing, my friend another, I dont find skin color has a thing to do with musical tastes, cuisine, furniture, love tastes...nothing..so close your eyes and we are all the same..open your eyes we are still all the same...I hate metal music..am I supposed to like it? I hate it, I always hated it...Always..
