well in case it wasnt obvious enough im talking about me. im mostly black and 17 and my entire life ive gone to primarily white schools and my neighborhood is mixed...i have never been attracted to black guys-i definitely dont buy into ignorant stereotypes of "most blk guys are ghetto thugs" or whatever..ive just never been physically into black guys. and im not a lesbian or anything but i think blk girls are beautiful (SOME - just like other races) but blk guys are just..there. i have blk guy friends and they're great. id just never date them - you have to be physically into who you're dating to some extent! (its not racist -get a dictionary.) most of my bfs have been white and then theres sexy asians, hispanics, and native americans..interracial love = beautiful : ) god theres just too many flavors-how can i pick just one?

I have heard the story of how a contingent of African-Americans went to the Louvre to demand that the African artifacts be returned. I heard that the response from the Louvre was that they should be honored that their artifacts were being housed in such a prestigious institution. Did this actually happen?
I went to the Louvre to try and find where these artifacts were, and I did see a separate building, close to the Arch de Triomphe de Caurosel, where they had some artifacts from Africa, as well as from Oceana and some other places. I suppose this could be what the story is referring to, though I also heard that there has recently been an opening of a museum in Paris that is devoted to "primitive" art. I believe this new museum might be related to the Louvre, or that perhaps the artifacts from the annex were moved to this new museum. I understand that it was a pet project of Chirac, who felt strongly that this so-called primitive are was just as valid as any Michaelangelo.

I meant race or ethnicity cause some people think you're trying to be something you're not.I don't get why though there is a black girl i work with and her name is selena and some people are like she isn't hispanic,or mexican stuff like that and i have seen black guys who call themselves by nicknames like gotti,giovanni,and vito.There was an asian girl i went to school with named emily and people had comments about that.My friend is puerto rican and black and the father of her children is sicilian and her son name is vito and she said she got comments why do some people do this?

Ok, There are black and hispanic/ other races, and I respect everyone equally. But, my point is that black and hispanic people can always have their own churches, t.v channel, radio station, etc. But theres no problem with them having those things, but what I find offensive is that if your white you can't have any of that they would just consider you as racist. And if lets say you wore a shirt that said "I'm proud to be white" it would imidiately be "racist", thats what I don't like is that people think if you have any of that that has to do with being white they think it's racist, but really they're being racist for thinking that, Whats wrong with being white???
