we say that we are proud to be white, or proud to be british, or when we say that we would like to live in a country that can openly be proud of our nationality. For examply, MOBO awards? if it was MOWO awards there would be an outrage

I've heard recently that when celebrities etc do well they get the 'keys to the city'. What exactly does this mean & also freedom of the city? Does this actually give them anything or is it just acknowledgement of their success?

Humans are something else.
Most people are arrogant, selfish, and judgemental...and than there's that really small percentage of people like me; warm, shy, giving, trustworthy, understanding, non-judgemental, and caring!
Animals are kinda like that too!

If blacks only make up approximately 10% of the population in MN, why are all of the crime stats skewed towards this smaller group?

In the neighborhood that I grew up in (inner-city), the crime has skyrocketed, coinciding with the influx of black residents. Many others, such as hispanic, somali and asian have flooded the area too and most of the problems seem to be caused by african-americans. Why is this?

I attended school with many, many minorities and have friends who are from many different nationalities (including black), so this is not a prejudiced question.

Imagine a country where you can cut a limb of people, stone a women in the streets. BUT do not show any kind of affection. Duh I say. Like Richard Gere kissing the woman on T.V. on the cheek no less and the government of Pakistan wants to jail him. I say what is wrong with this world. You can show any kind of violence but don't ever show affection. Makes me sick I say!!!

This past Dec. 31st, my friend's recently retired parents were both killed in a horrible auto accident--the car was crushed half-way through by a speeding pickup truck.

The perpetrator was drunk, driving with a suspended license (which was obtained using false papers), and is charged with vehicular homicide. He is an illegal alien from Mexico.

The latest I've heard is that the US might deport him back to mex without him doing any prison time here. The dude's only 24 yrs old--so what the fluck, he'll prolly sneak back here 1st chance he gets.

After seeing the protest on the news for allowing illegals easier access to the US, I AM TOTALLY P*SSED OFF and feel this tragedy should be heard by more ppl.

Here are the facts:
Weed is not addictive, although they say it is "mentally addictive" Mentally addictive is an oxy moron. The webster deffinition of addiction is "a chemical need for a substance" CHEMICAL! This means you can't get mentally addicted. Enjoying the feeling doesn't make it addicting. When i go to the movie theater i enjoy that, does that mean that I am addicted to going to the movie theater and there is a 12 step program to get off of it?
No one has ever died from it. 99.9% of the people who have died from lung cancer after smoking alot of weed also smoked cigarettes. It doesn't contain as much tar as an entire pack of cigarettes either, as some people have said. This is a blatant lie.
It doesn't make you violent. When someone smokes a joint, they don't wanna go out and rob a bank, they want to sit on the couch and watch a funny movie, listen to music, or have a nice conversation with a friend.

For example, one Asian person is really nice to White person because the person is White. It's not a racism because the Asian person is just really nice and the White person won't know the Asian person is nice to him "because of his race". But what do you think about them? and the White person won't know about the reason they are nice to him forever?

since they know its a bad thing to say and what the word represents
like rap songs and teens
if a white person said it they would probably beat that person up but they say it all the time themselves
and not just African-Americans say it Hispanic-Americans say it and Asian-Americans and even some European-Americans
the only difference is with an a instead of a er
its still the same thing
