Is there any way to let people know that sexual advances from people outside of your own race or socio-economic level are not welcomed, and without being rude about it?

Why assume the question is about me? Can't a person be curious or asking for someone else? I'm asexual anyway, so nearly any hit-on attempt is offensive to me.

Yes, asexuality is a sexual orientation:

Remember, words can have different meanings according to context.

By income bracket, I was meaning more people on the bottom rung with no desire to improve or change. Like what about a broke addict or drunk asking for money for their habit in one breath and then asking for sex in very vulgar terms in the next? I guess I should have used the word class instead.

If you are not attracted then that's fine. It's your life and you have to do what's best for you. What one person finds attractive another won't. Just tell that you are not interested. You don't have to be mean, just be serious and don't joke around about it. If that doesn't work, say that you already have someone or your married or engaged, lol. Works for me. ;)

Maybe you don't want to date outside your race, that is a typicall response, but socio-economic standard?

That is a changeable aspect of someone's life. Who is rich today might be poor tommorow, and vice versa.

Your reasoning about dating in this aspect makes you seem like a stuck-up princess.

and before you ask I make over $125,000 a year, so don't label me as some poor bass-turd telling you off. All people regardless of economic standard have the potential for greatness.

It's just the same as someone INSIDE your race or income level that you are not interested in. What's the problem?

In other words how do you get the message across to people that are in your acceptable box but you are not interested in? Ditto to the outside of the box peoples that you're not interested in. Of course, you are not interested in anyone outside of your little comfort zone box but they don't know that.

If you are wanting to let them know that you aren't interested in them simply because they are not as good as you because they are a different color or make less money than you do, you will have to be rude. Somehow I don't see that it would be hard for you to be rude. I get the msg that you are superficial anyway.

ONLY EARTHWORMS ARE ASEXUAL. AND SOMETIMES SEAHORSES.

Theres no way to be sexually interested in someone because of their income level. A person is either attracted to someone or they're not. If someone is attracted to an income bracket then its a false attraction, I would say that the person who is attracted is damaged in some way because money is part of what you are not who you are.

No theres not any way to not be rude because the underlying thought or belief is one of pride or arrogance. It would seem that if someone somehow considers themselves better or so completely different just because of their race or skin color that they are the ones who are wrong.

I dont think we can controll who we are sexually intrested in. I know for me its the indivudal. If someone makes me feel safe and happy then I am find myself there, But race or anything else has never came into play for me. As long as you dont hold anything against anyone and your just not into people that way I dont think its wrong I am not saying its right but we are attracted to who we are there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Theres no way to tell people in advance. You've just got to turn people down individually. And when you do turn them down, don't tell them they're too poor or not the right color, lie and make up something about yourself, like im not ready for a relationship. And yes, thats sorta..... not so much wrong as shallow

I don't think it's wrong to be attracted to only a specific type of person. There's nothing you can do about who you're attracted to. You can also break it down even more. I'm only attracted to men with brown hair. I don't know why, it's just the way it is.

No it is not wrong. I love having HOT INTERRACIAL SEX with the white guys I have been with. Something different ;-)

But if you are not interested then hey....you just tell them politely: I am not interested/ I have a boyfriend/ I am a lesbian/ I am celibate etc.....

money doesn't have anything to do with love, but color does, its very wrong to date out side your own race
