havoc on the populous, when it is a direct representation of populous? When we get mad at congress, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Ourselves for not voiting, ourselves for not having enough of a mental prowess to write in a name instead of voting for evil! (The argument of 'vote for the lesser of two evils' is stupid, I refuse to vote for evil, period)
Why can't people show up, vote for who they want, (not who the media tells them to vote for) and actually participate in the shaping of our government instead of setting back criticizing it?
note - Since the age of 18 I have voted for all local and federal goverment positions I have been able to vote for. My presidential vote for the past two elections has been Colin Powell. Just because someone isn't running for the election, doesn't mean you can't vote for them. If a person that isn't running gets the most votes, that person is offered the position anyway.
