Aren't you all getting sick and tired of trolls ruining the Society & Culture area of Yahoo Answers?

Why can't they go and pollute some other place with their trash? I'm really getting sick of seeing Cindy K's face and name everywhere. But why is Yahoo Answers even allowing this? Can't they like block people like her or something? I know to just ignore them, but it's hard to, with their stupid questions. Even if I need the points. I'm just going to start
ignoring them and not even bothering to answer their questions. It just fuels them further. They just want the attention but its really tiring.

So, PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS! Ignore them, and eventually they will go away to their lonely, miserable lives. It will only work if everyone chooses to just ignore them. Thank you.

The REAL just a guy, I know that was not you and simply a clone. Obviously, there is a major difference in Levels so to speak. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, especially since you don't frequent here much. I shall keep this question up for as long as possible so that others may see. I have started to ignore them as of now. (Their questions of course, not their comments. That'll take some time... ^_^')

The reason they pollute this place is that Yahoo answers does not crack down on them. They do not have enough moderators and staff and/or they do not care.

If they hired enough staff, this place could be cleaned up in a week. Personally I think yahoo answers enjoys the ruckus.

As for the trolls and clones, well, they are trolls and clones and they do what trolls and clones do. Their online mission is one to make other people's lives miserable. I, personally, believe that their lives are so miserable that they have to troll online. That is how they get their anger and self-hatred out.

I have to ignore them. There is a concerted effort to ruin my reputation and defame my people. The clone you replied to is a perfect example. I have no choice but to ignore, or to educate if education is possible.

This applies to every decent member on here and every race/ethnicity/religion/sexual orientation/etc represented.
If it is not possible, leave them to stew in their own stupidity.

Really, it does help when you finally have had the big "it" and start ignoring. I had the big "it" a long time ago and do not even bother going into racist's questions. That is, when I am here at all, which is rare now.

Well, I saw earlier that Yahoo finally got around to deleting Robert Shelton. (Although, unfortunately, I'm sure he'll return.)

Ralph, I support free speech as well. But I also think that there is a line between free speech and harassment (such as what ''Just a Guy'' is having to endure). I also think that there should be equal treatment. There are double standards here on Yahoo Answers. People like you are permitted to post your nonsense until pigs fly, while those of us who are here for meaningful Q&A are being sent violation notices (and some are even deleted). (Example- I posted a question asking everyone to report Just a Guy's clone ... My question was removed approximately 15 minutes later, and I was sent a violation notice.)

"...they allow so many whites...." ----Let's not go there. I have seen SEVERAL racist Q&A's posted here by non-whites as well. Who is doing it is unimportant, and making an issue of it does nothing but feed the racism and seperatist attitude.

To answer the question: I am tired of this nonsense, too. I would love to be able to log on here and participate in meaningful Q&A. Unfortunately, Yahoo is allowing the trolls to ''have at it'' at our expense.

You're right!! A lot of the questions are just a bunch of crap. I wouldn't give a minute of my time answering some of them. I read a lot of questions before I find one that I want to answer. Some people are truly looking for help. Some just want to see how trashy they can be. I feel sorry for those. Why not do whatever to improve our lives and help each other? So many people in Yahoo Answers have a lot of valuable information to share. So, why not appreciate it and stop making fun of the good stuff. Ignore the ones who are putting on a show just by bragging about their vulgar ways.

I am new here and I see what you are talking about. People typing up nonesense questions that take up space and make Yahoo Answers and unfun place. I'll still be here though. I'm with you on the choice to ignore people like that.
