I did not have horse when I was in France or Belgium but Horse from Japan tastes ok. Kangaroo is too chewy for me--really I did not like the seasoning. Shark eggs from Russia, an acquired taste. Curried goat is nice! Frogs tasted good but boney. Dolphin was juicy+succulent but I feel bad because they are cute and smart--sorry I was not told what I was eating...

For one I would never eat bugs! ....unless they are encased in candy, chocolate or have been fried and seasoned.
I do not even have a solid excuse for myself; I am not European. -- blame the food network.

Sorry I just can't imagine myself eating little piglets and fluffy chickies...just kidding.

what were we talking about again...oh yeah, yes we need to stop those french from eating horses!how barbaric. Horses are our friends!

PS What is really weird is I mostly eat chicken and fish most days. Then I look at food network or go travelling...those desensitize my discriminating palate. When you are actually emersed in another culture, you are more likely to try different things. You learn not to judge--some things you try are a one time only deal. I realize too that some things I eat only when I am in a certain area.

No. Not sure what you’re basing this question on but... Each culture has some type of exotic food that turns the stomach of another culture. For example, Vietnam sells roast dog in their street markets. Several African and South American countries sell roasted monkey meat. Horse meat seems almost mild compared to the other alternatives.

Mind your own business, what are you, a horse? McDonald's burgers come from Argentina, who knows what's in them?
