My boyfriend's parents live in Beijing. They don't have a problem with their son dating a white guy.

Asians are more open to interracial relationships. After all, many Asians are a combination of several races.

There is no problem with Asian parents whose son dates a white girl. There's also no problem with Asian girls dating a white boy. At the end of the day, if the person is sincere and honest with his/her intentions, Asian families will accept them.

White girls are looked down upon more than white guys when it comes to relationships. This is because the sexual and relationship parts in the lives of white guys and asian guys are almost the same regardless of whether they live in western world or asia. Where as girls of the western world have more chances and more freedom to indulge in various kinds of relationships and sexual encounters compared to asian girls. Asian parents do not believe in "forget my past if you want my future" kind of philospahy and may be concerned about the "notions" they might have in thier minds about the past of a possible companion for their son.

i think white parents don't mind their sons dating Asian girls. But Asian parents are a little bit more traditional and closed minded, so Asian guy dating white girl would have to put up with it with his parents, but it happens, the US us is a pretty mixed up place.

I think it varies from one person to the next, but generally it would take some getting used to.

I don't think it matters as far as gender goes, though- I have a brother who dated white girls for a while, and a female cousin who is engaged to a white guy, and the reaction was about the same between my parents and my aunt and uncle. None of them disowned their kid, but they didn't really approve either.

The most important thing is that you are both responsible and respect each others culture. If the parens do not know you, you may want to spend some time with them and show them what a great girl you are. But do learn a thing or two about each others culture first as not to shock the older people.

i'm chinese myself. umm i'm sure they will give me a chance with a white girl, after my sister broke the ice by marrying a white guy. So she did all the hardwork for me. So yeah i think it's okay, at least for me. not sure about other asians. then again i'm all american.

I have not seen any problems with non-blacks dating non-blacks. It would not be a problem with my parents.
