I hate rap. It is boring and not fun to me. I love Country and Pop. I also love some rock.

I don't get how people can judge rap purely by listening to a few stereotypical and mainstream examples of it.
Rap is not all about cars, money & hoes, just like rock isn't all about sex, drugs and violence, pop isn't all about boyfriends and girlfriends and country isn't all about milking cows and little houses on the prarie.
If you don't like it - here's an idea - don't listen to it!

I would not say I hate it but I really dislike it there are some rap songs I like but very far and few between it seems to have no soul. I am a big fan of r&b the blues and country

yes idk why i ever liked it...its annoying. there are a very few that i actually dont mind and sorta like (like Will Smith- Miami) but all that hardcore stuff is definitely crap.
so the very few that i actually dont mind are in the 90s...i think rap has gotten even worse these days.
eh dont like Country. its kinda boring to me except for a little Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts- What Hurts the Most and Leann Rimes.
pop and rock. now thats good stuff.

I've been a musician for over 40 years (play piano) and in my opinion it's not music. The music I normally listen to is Traditional Christian, Country, very soft rock and folk music. In these kinds of music there are no lyrics that bashes authority figures, condones rape and violence against almost anything that moves and any kind of negativity. And you're right I don't have to listen to it and so I don't.

I don't mind rap if it has a good beat and isn't full of negativity. There are songs in every genre that I like. Keeping an open mind...

I dont like rap because its all about sex, country is corny, but some pop music is ok, but I love soft rock.

If you dont like a form of entertainment, dont listen to it, its that simple. For those of you who think rap is a simple art, I challenge you to make a song of your own and perform it for anyone who listens to it, and see how youre perceived. Were not brainless, rap is the oldest form of music on this planet (or do you not know what tribal chant is?)

I liked the stuff when it came out originally like Kool Mo Dee, but this new stuff bites. I hate country music too though, except the funny stuff.

I like to sing rap songs at karaoke 'cause it's funny.
But the themes are really tiresome. Yes, yes, you have the most money and the most *****es and you have the best car and your the hardest etc., etc.
