Every day I have to walk by people (if I can) because they're so slow! They're like turtles... seemingly every last one of them. It's so annoying. Why don't you Americans* walk faster?

okay, well i am supposed to construct a survey over what your opinions are towards muslim women. like when you see one or even a friend that may be muslim. this really helps out my project by knowing what others think. just a breif opinion over what you think about them will do. when you do reply i just need to know your age group- kid under 12, teen- 12-16, adult- 16+. this is so i can make it acuratley by age groups opinions. thank yuo for your help. i look forward to seeing what your opinions are!

You never hear anyone calling an Indian an Asian, but they are.

Asian = people from Asia

so, technically.... Russians are Asians too so is everybody in the middle east that is part of Asia.

Is it due to being allowed to spell phonetically in class, or is it because of something else? Is it some sort of text slang? Is it because youngsters don't read as much as previous generations? I was told that children in this generation were supposed to be better educated, but I see very little evidence of that.

I ask because I have noticed a lot "PC" slanted debates recently which go on to blame certain groups in society for certain social problems, a prize example being the whole St George's day issue and this somehow translating into biggoted rants aimed at Muslims? What is this all about?
Am I missing the point or are people getting away with disguising extreme and unpleasant views?

She dresses since a few month all in black,wear lacey gloves, wears a long black coat, wears heavy black boots, wears a dog collar with huge spikes, paints her face all white and the eyes really dark (black) with 3 black lines underneath, black lips, black finger and toenails...her attitude is different. She seems to know it all better and belittles everyone in the family...
She prefers her own group of goth teenagers. One looking scarier than the other. This is also how they go to school with this look.

My questions:
Is that goth culture a satanic culture?
How can we snap her out of it?
Does anybody have experience with their child who went thru such a phase?
Any comments how to deal with this all?
All comments/suggestions are highly appreciated!!!

Reading posts on this site I am shocked at the attitude a number of American posters display.

Arrogance and ill-believed propaganda that the rest of the world is in obsequence to them seems to be a common misconception.

No - I am not branding ALL Americans with this statement no more than ALL British are homosexual and have bad teeth - but I sincerely worry that the American people have less than a great take on what everyone else thinks about them.
To read some of the comments made by Americans about the rest of the world being "murdering Arabs" "Aids ridden Africans" "what would happen to the rest of us if All Chinese were killed" - yes - I understand that one is always going to get the extremists - but have they never heard of "People in glass houses really should not throw stones"?
Say what you like about the British - we laugh at ourselves before anyone else gets the chance. But please - do Americans really believe that they have got it SO right.
Check yourselves out.

"Semetic" is a family of languages like Arabic and Hebrew. Arabs, Arameans, Chaldeans, Sabeans, Babylonians, Phoenicians and Jews are all Semetic. There are 300 Million+ Arabs in the world, Arabs were the strongest and largest semetic people. There are about 12 million Jews in the world. Not all Jews are "Semetic", most Jews are Ashkenazi (European) the group of people the Europeans kicked out of Europe. The only real Semetic Jews are the Sephardic Jews which are much smaller in number than the Ashkenazi Jews. So in reality there are very few real Semetic Jews, if someone doesn't like Jews for any reason that doesn't mean they are an Anti-Semite, If someone hates all semetic people then yes, they are Anti-Semetic. Arabs outnumber Jews 30 times over and yet if someone doesn't like Arabs they aren't considered Anti-Semetic? The Arabs have many allies like Russia and controls the Middle East, the whole world depends on Arabs.

There is such a thing as a "Mexican accent" (I like it by the way)--if you are talking to someone on the phone you can often tell what their background is just by their voice. Why? Its so close to being universal in groups it seems like it might have a biological base---could all those people from various backgrounds possibly have learned to talk with the same accent?

Especially wealthy/upper middleclass teens? I always hear people referring to what 'blacks call themselves' when there is no way they could possibly know what black culture is really like when there is nothing but an illusion on television. Not just with blacks but with plenty of other races. For one, people should just turn off their televisions and learn the truth about things.

Ok, I'm a Jewish and Latina and I've been dealing with this a lot lately, because I live in a predominately Arab neighborhood.
