No the internet nor anyone else will ever turn me into a racist, and anyone who becomes racist based on what they read online needs professional help. I'm pretty sure the people at Yahoo did not want this to become a free-for-all for all the racist and prejudice people out there; that's why they will probably take this question down. Only thing is though, I don't understand why they don't take down all the actual racist questions.

I will not allow something as silly as yahoo answers turn me into a racist, but a lot of the questions are very prejudiced and offensive. It's interesting how they'll take off your question, but leave on racist ones, which should be taken off ASAP. Yahoo answers isn't really what I call suitable for questions about serious life issues such as racism and relationships because lest we forget, we don't know the yahoo answers community, they could be a bunch of total creeps who give wrong advice. There are certain things u should just figure out on your own. I believe yahoo answers should be a fun advice site for lighter topics like i dunno what's your favorite colour for example.

I used to defend other races, but I rarely do anymore.
I received a violation notice because someone was being racist and mentioned "black collages" instead of "black colleges", and I sarcastically answered "I'm completely against black collages. I can't see the point, because its just a bunch of black paper stuck on a bigger piece of paper." When I apologized, the person who asked the question told me that he did not report me. The reporter was a anti-racist who doesn't know the difference between a "college" and a "collage".

Y A has nothing to do with my opinions or how I think. I formed those long before I knew about Y A. I have seen some blatant examples of racism, and narrow minded thinking while I've been here though.

To some extent, it has made me have to defend both Black and white people as never before. A non-prejudice hobby? Try reading a good book or enjoying the great outdoors.

No, it hasn't turned me into a racist, but I have seen a LOT of racist and sexist comments/questions on here. I think since people are anonymous, they feel they can say anything.
I think this is a valid question, and there is no good reason for taking it down.

That's silly. How does a Web community turn anyone into a racist? We get daily info from many sources. It's up to us what we do with it.
