Spare me the "it is time to get over it crowd" because it hasn't completely stopped to this day. And you know this is true! Racism is alive and well in America! (Just for the record, it goes both ways)
However, the White population of America has not yet imagined or placed themselves in the position of the Blacks at the beginning of our Nation.
How would you and your family be fairing at this point if your family had been in Slavery since the the later part of the1600's?
What if it were the White American's that had been enslaved just how well would your family and you be doing at this time?
Brutal Slavery has consquences!
Don't forget, if you and your family were inslaved, your daughters would have been subject to most any kind of servitude, including bedroom slavery. And the men would have suffered the wipe, or death, if they even smiled at the wrong moment.

I am a white guy but I have many different races in me ( black Indian Middle eastern all these except, Indian, are very small). I don't like white culture and what white people did to the Indians and the black people.i get nervous when there is a lot of white guys coming towards me. does this make me a racist?

asians are very against marrying outside their relationships. Many blacks are insulted when it is done because they feel that their sons and daughters should be proud to be who they are. Jews frown on their sons and daughters marrying outside of the klan...yet in america....it is considered being "enlilghtened" or OK to date or marry outside of your race. What is the USA so narrowminded to preserving a race rather than diluting it?

He is extremely closeminded in not accepting that we will not accept a black for a girlfriend. It is a choice that he have and we chose not to accept it. He has dated hispanics, koreans and whites...yet is obsessed with the fact that we would not accept a black girl. He claims that he is starting to like someone who is and we said fine - but do not bring her home and do not expect for us to go anywhere with you. We have the right not to expect such a hideous relationship.

I am pretty shy. I live in southern Indiana and have lived here all my life in the country. There is not much here and pretty much everyone here is closet minded and afraid of their own shadow. I don't like living here and have wanted to move for quite some time. I want to go somewhere with public transport. I want it to be very diverse and accepting of different people. Lower the crime rate the better. Lots of stores nearby to shop/eat/whatever. I've been to California and I didn't like it. Basically everyone was skinny and beautiful, and it was rather depressing. I don't swim in public, once again, because of body issues I have with myself, so being by the beach isn't important. So where do you guys think would be a nice city for me to move to?

The west doesn't recognise gender as natural. It considers it just a matter of playing arbitrarily defined sex roles.

But other societies have since ancient times recognised gender as not only a valid but the most basic human identity, without which a person's sex identity is not complete.

Gender is the inner sense of being a male or female irrespective of one's 'outer-sex'. Natural gender doesn't depend on conforming or non-conforming to socially defined sex roles.

The west says that sexual orientation is the most basic identity of humans, especially of males. It divides males on the basis of whether they prefer men or women.

But in reality it plays with the gender factor behind the scenes. Straight actually means mainsream, masculine guy, & 'gay' is projected as a totally different 'gender' than men (3rd/ queer/ fem gender), even when it is defined only in terms of sexuality.

The term sexual orienation doesn't formally acknowledge or consider one's gender in its classification.
