It depends, but largely I think its Ahmedinejad. He needs to take care of his people and build wealth first before trying to take on the west. Energy is a good cause and now that he has the world listening, he should take advantage of it instead of pushing the envelope.

Iran clearly does not like Zionism and would be happy if Israel were wiped off the face of the planet. Since the Jewish play a major role in the type of media information you receive then of course they are going to portray Iran as our enemy. I am not even sure if I've ever met someone from Iran and politically I am not sure how we can tell people not to develop nuclear bombs when we have more then any one else. But that is the nature of our government, they want domination. I have no hate anywhere inside my soul towards anyone.

Not everybody does; I don't. I have known a number of Iranians, and they are just as nice as everyone else. The problem, of course, is that the Iraninan government is in the hands of a bunch of religious crackpots, who are trying to start a war against the infidels and may yet succeed in doing so.

Ignorance. Try reading "The Lion and The Eagle" and see how Iran has been taken advantage of by the West for much of the 20th century. If the U.S. were used like that, damn right there would be rebellion!
