To my mind,you should always treat people as you would wish them to treat you,i.e. with respect,not belittle them!

Well most likely it's just an opinion (ie telling someone they are fat, or ugly, or stupid). It doesn't mean that the person saying it is doing it to make them feel better about themselves. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. And you are doing the same thing, you are telling them that they are not as good as you because of what they say. And that there is something wrong with them, or that they hate them self and have to take it out on others. So now you are doing what you are preaching against.

People are cruel, maybe they were having a bad day and took it out on others. It's makes me really mad when people say things like what you just did. Because you have no clue what that person is about. So what, they make fun of you. Maybe they think it's genuinely funny. Some people have sick senses of humor. It doesn't automatically make them less of a person.

If someone asks someone's opinion and that other person belittles them then they are embarrassing to themselves and do not know how to behave. Morally its not good either.Belittling comes from the human need to compare and put everything into an agenda because society shows them that they think they need to.. No one is small, watch out for the quiet bully's ! If someone has hurt someone then they deserve whats said to them, if that comment belittles them then its a natural protection from the bully !

nian3555 and waiching liu are the ones reporting everyone for no reason, report them back and point out that people at Yahoo do not have the right to censor us just cos we don't agree or sympathise with them.
