I am pretty shy. I live in southern Indiana and have lived here all my life in the country. There is not much here and pretty much everyone here is closet minded and afraid of their own shadow. I don't like living here and have wanted to move for quite some time. I want to go somewhere with public transport. I want it to be very diverse and accepting of different people. Lower the crime rate the better. Lots of stores nearby to shop/eat/whatever. I've been to California and I didn't like it. Basically everyone was skinny and beautiful, and it was rather depressing. I don't swim in public, once again, because of body issues I have with myself, so being by the beach isn't important. So where do you guys think would be a nice city for me to move to?

I'm only 16 and I don't want to have kids. I'm also bisexual so I want somewhere that I could meet women freely too.

Portland, Or!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lived there for a while until i moved out here because of family situations. They have the best transportation in the Nation! In most parts of the city it's free & you'll be wherever you need to be right @ the front door b4 you know it! There is no sales tax! People are very pop cultured & there is assistance all over the place although it is not a poor city. So if you need some help w/ moving situations. It is also very clean & well just a slice of heaven. My sister moved there & from Vegas & it was her first time being out on her own. She has done well for herself there!!!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend a city for you. Especially if you have a family with children. Why not live in the countryside or at least some place where you can have a garden and grow your own food. Working in a garden with lots of vegetables and fruit would be good for you. Don't give up on your body issues. Try to live a peaceful life with regular meals and nothing in between. All villages are not like ther one you describe and where you live. Closer to nature is always the best. To live in harmony also with our Creator.
Public transport though, is a good issue. Try to find some place where you have acces to a big city by public transport. Possibly between two cities where there are buses.

Louisville!!! The crime rate south of Louisville is not that bad. As a matter of fact, if you live in that metropolotian area, you are in one of the lowest crime areas in the NATION. Hawaii has one of the highest murder rates in the nation as does Texas, Nevada, and California. Be a good girl and stay close to what you know and the people you love and you'll go far.

i've wanted to live in tennessee. its so pretty out there in the country w/ all those hills. if you want a city then go to nashville; it sounds like an adventure to me. or san antonio. that is such a cool place to live. i don't live there but i went to the famous riverwalk and there were apartments over it and at night when all the Christmas lights were strung on the trees above the riverwalk and you can hear people laughing and talking all night and the apartments have these cool balconys and these neat lit up restaraunts. its really cool look it up on the internet even if you don't wanna live there. i'm shy too i know how you feel. --

Virginia is very nice, low crime rate, nice weather year round, low taxes. Lynchburg is nice and has lots of stores. Everyone seems very friendly there too. Cheap rent too, 2 bedroom apartments are like $300 a month! That is where I want to move to someday.

You must have gone to LaLaLand in southern California. Try San Francisco. From what you've said about yourself, I think you'd love living there.
