Americans are fatter than the British and there are more Rednecks in America and more gangsters as well. They call football soccer while the British call football "football"

Well, we can all stereotype. Being an American, I think that we have a huge obesity problem, everyone has an opinion and has to be right, and no matter how hard we try I think that since the US had some strong beginnings in racism, it is AWAYS going to be a problem no mater what we say or do.We are just constantly changing the face of who is the person to prosecute today for being different anything.
The US is a melting pot of people, but our history is a bunch of white men doing something that did changed something and blah blah blah. (for the most part, there is some things to be proud of)
The British have a queen and a real history that is more than just making a quick buck the easiest way and off of someone else hard work.
Dental seems to be an apparent difference, but in the US everything is becoming plastic. Pretty soon you might just have to leave the US to find a person that is 100% person.

I suspect you already have your own opinions and that you have merely posted this question to get a reaction.
I am English and proud.(and possibly a bit ignorant)
We British have as many faults as do our Friends across the pond.
We have a better government system in place, but we allow illegals to abuse it.
The us has ancient gun laws.
We are more politically correct (a bad thing)
Americans are usually more laid back.
We are uptight all the time.
Americans are over offensive, we are very defensive.
Its a bit like ying and yang, opposites attract and all that stuff.

There will never be an end to this argument, its like sibling rivalry, we all want what the others have but don't want to share what we have.
In the end I think that both countries have a mutual respect for each other. We both have great countries and are justifiably proud.

Reading post's on here there is one thing that I have noticed about the British born people....We cannot wait to leave this country for pastures new. Its just that we are sick of the poor way the country is run.

Americans = melting pot.... British = white people with funky speaking.

Okay that was more of a joke. But Americans arn't all white and most British are. British drive on the other side of the road and would die for rock music, americans like country, folk, rock, jazz, rock etc.

Just a few differences.

The fact that we British evidently know more about Americans than they know about us.

Being a bit of both, myself... Americans feel the need to be politically correct. The British do not feel such a need.

Your question is not intelligent at all, there are 51 very different states in USA and 300 million people there, whit a very strong representation on Latins, Black Americans, so yes...they have nothing to do at all with British...you can say whatever about the bellies but let me tell you that they have quite a lot much better character and sense of humour... American girls are quite much more sexy and fit than the media in UK...by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrr

a non bias out side view...

Brits - generally humourous, wickedly sarcastic, mostly attractive, they understand that when you host a world championship for any sport you should invite other countries to play as well, they appreciate history, open to travel and when they visit the southern hemisphere they tend to fit in perfectly.

Americans - generally loud, sh*te sense of humour, fetish for school hostage situations, insane gun laws, a very vague (if any) knowledge of life outside the U.S, cant hold a beer, over weight, not very open to travel (outside America), and if they do step out and visit the southern hemisphere they usually don't fit in and annoy the crap out of us.
