I ask because I have noticed a lot "PC" slanted debates recently which go on to blame certain groups in society for certain social problems, a prize example being the whole St George's day issue and this somehow translating into biggoted rants aimed at Muslims? What is this all about?
Am I missing the point or are people getting away with disguising extreme and unpleasant views?

There are extremist on both sides of almost any argument. With political correctness, there are those whom you speak of . Those who are hiding bigotry. However, there is also bigotry on the other side of the issue. Those who feel a minority is never at Fault because of what happened to past generations. Those who always pull the race card.

My viewpoint is simple - treat everyone as an individual, not as a result of which group he happens to belong to. No discrimination against, or special treatment for anyone.

I don't see how someone can use to disguise their bigot views using the PC slant.

maybe it's just a fact that people are getting sick of the PC sector using that to their advantage and always wanting their way.

You're right. It's ridiculous- just because someone is Muslim doesn't mean that they can't also be English and celebrate St. Georges Day.

I don't know BUT when I flew the England flag at my house during the last WorldCup - my local council came round and told me to take it down - when I asked why - I was told because it offended other 'ethnic sections of the community' - that is an exact quote of what he said - I, and I quote, told him to 'Fcuk Off' - you get my drift!

Explain to me WHY as an Englishman, I have to take a flag down for 'their upset' - ain't gonna happen dude!!!

That is where things are wrong and why the Brits are suddenly realising the facts of multi cultural Britain today - they can do as they please - but we can't

nian3555 and waiching liu are the ones reporting everyone for no reason, report them back and point out that people at Yahoo do not have the right to censor us just cos we don't agree or sympathise with them.

spot on mate, it racism disguised by anti political correctness.

their is a fine line between being anti PC and being a racist/sexist/ageist bigot and many people cross it.
