Why is it that when Australians and Britain's sing, their accent sounds American?

I was just listening to a couple english and aussie bands, and they both sounded american...

I wish I could give you all the best answer, because they all sound right...

They are influenced by the bands they listen to.

I've never noticed that, though it is possible that some bands may deliberately sing with an American accent to appeal to an American audience.

maybe singing Americans sound British or Aussie to Brits and Aussies when Americans sing.
