Trust me, they do go. A friend of mine is a goth and we were talking about holidays one day and mentioned that she went to Marmaris, which is a beautiful holiday town in Turkey. I didn't ask her this question because I didn't want to be rude, so can anyone who knows the answer tell me, please?

No smart-alec answers, please, I respect goths.

The experience of many mixed-race or multiracial Americans differs very much from the experiences of monoracial Americans and, consequently, identify more strongly as such. Do we need our own space on the census?

Why is it there is Bet, Black Miss America, Black history month... and now WET, White Miss America, White history month?? Do you think that these are necessary especially in a society that is trying so hard to be "politically correct"? Or maybe we aren't trying to do that at all.... ♥

"White " people are actually shades of beige and "Blacks" are shades of brown. Isn't it time we called a spade a spade?
I mean these are modern times. And I do believe it would go a long way towards dealing with the big "white elephant" in the middle of America.

I do not want to cause any alarm amongst the community at large, but just curious to know about innocent Muslims' experiences in either country, and what the rest of the world thinks.

Thank you!

I´m german and friends told me when they was in another country the people called them names like "nazy-girl" or "hitler" or something like that.
But that is the past an we´re against what Hitler did! Of course it was terrible and unhuman!
Why hates also so many people german and call us names based on the Nationalsocialism?
Because of this I don´t like my country and I´m ashamed.
Why are people doing that?
In their past they did terrible things too and we don´t call them names.

Im from ND we dont have many African American people around here. And we have four little boys. When our second youngest was 2 we were walking through wal-mart and he pointed at a black lady and called her a monkey...he asked me why there was a monkey in the store. And she heard it i felt so bad and i apologized to her he was only 2 keep in mind. So since then ive explained to the kids how there are different races and so on, i dont want judgmental kids. Anyways so my question is how do you guys feel about this...Does it really offend you when a child says something and they just dont understand? Have your kids said anything about white people? im just curious....i hope im better prepared next time......

Do you think that the projects and ghettos of new york (and everywhere else) is being glorified in rap music? How do you feel when people say that they are "ghetto"? Is it a good thing or a bad thing to be ghetto?

Lol, I wonder why everyone always feels obligated to call Blacks "African-Americans?" It's like they have to be referred to in the most proper way or else their dignity is hurt or something. It just seems like people are so scared of offending Black people that they, out of fear, call Blacks African-Americans. It's not like people refer to Whites as Caucasians or Asians as Asian-Americans...what's the freaking deal?

There has been alot of publisity recently about 'racist' attacks etc.
In certain newspapers they refer to racisist attacks as being when one person, for example, calls another "an english b' or a 'french froggy' etc etc. Is this racism?
Last time I checked, English or French wasn't an race but a nationality - race is to do with colour?
Is this just the tabloids making easy reading or is calling someone an 'english b' or whatever racism? I'd call it nationalism - what do u think?

Racism or not?
