hypothetically...
you get bumped to the back of the line once, you shrug, and assume it was an error.
it happens a second time, you're curious. the third time, your eyebrow raises.
by the 1,000th time (or sooner), a pattern becomes obvious.
why do some people pretend there is no discrimination?

You apparently aren't a minority, or you'd have been through the discrimination at some point in your life and you'd understand. You apparently have no idea what it is like to have the police constantly on your back (cause I have had that, I was stopped 13 times in 2 months, and my car was searched 4 times--only 2 with permission--because they thought my car was too nice for the Mexican and therefore I must have been a drugdealer; even though I've never even seen an illegal drug in my life--not even marijuana). You don't know what it is like to lose out on every job even when you are more qualified because the boss has been told that illegals are taking all the jobs (even though I'm fifth generation in from the last immigrant--who incidentally was from France, and even have some ancestors who have been in America since before it was America), and he wants to do his part in curing the "illegal problem."
You don't know what it is like to be considered incompetent for no other reason then you are a woman, to be considered a thief for no other reason then you are black, to have people try to arrest you off a plane because you are brown and praying. We would be happy to take ownership once in a while, but this happens everyday to so many minorities, we have to avoid taking fault if only to save that tiny chance that we are sometimes lucky to come across. You have a chance (and a real chance, not this you have to work twice as hard to prove you are equal to a white male counterpart), so you don't know what it is like for those who don't.

To answer another question 1st: Whites are still the majority. Asians, blacks, Mexicans, etc. are figured individually,e.g. the white population is greater than the black population.
Blacks are often racist in that they believe that a white person is always racist. For example, if a black person or family is evicted from the apt complex where I live they will say they are discriminated against. Except that there are plenty of blacks who have lived here a long time & there are plenty of whites who are evicted as well. So if they're evicted because of excessive noise, behind in rent, for drugs or domestic abuse or whatever, so are white people.
I was at a party not long ago & met a woman who worked for the agency which handles rental complaints. She said that my complex discriminated against blacks. Not true. It is just that blacks tend to assume that's the reason why they're evicted & contact the agency more frequently than white people.

I don’t recognize of any Republicans shirking any duty to waterboardoing. in actuality i recognize of many that've taken possession of it. attempt and persist with alongside. while something is seen as being incorrect on no longer something is completed approximately it or you nevertheless be silent till it fits your political service, that’s the genuine incorrect; each and each bit as plenty so with the aid of fact the act in question. that's Pelosi. The information are public to all of us who cares to maintain an purpose view on them. The C.I.A. has greater to lose than earnings by deceptive any administration. Pelosi became into briefed, she did no longer act. Or is this a case of a girl basically listening to what she needs to pay attention. Is there some mechanism in a girl’s recommendations that takes undeniable speech and turns it into something thoroughly diverse by the time it registers in her recommendations? “even with if she knew approximately it or no longer, she isn't the guy who ok'd it or who made it portion of usual coverage“. incredibly? yet she didn’t do something approximately it the two. She might have or contained in the very least made an attempt to. Now, while it’s needless to say shown she no longer basically knew approximately it, she remained silent; then she waffles on it.

I wish it were just minorities that screamed discrimination- though they are the ones that scream it loudest.
Personal responsibility applies to everyone not just minorities- but for whatever reason people are quick to blame their shortcomings on someone else rather than on the fact that they made lousy choices.
I have heard people blame the system, blame white people, blame their drinking problems, blame their parents, their neighbors- everyone but themselves.
I don't know how we ever plan on having a responsible government when the people refuse to take responsibility for themselves

Because it's easier to play the race card than reason things out and "take ownership" of the problem as you put it. We have whole generations who blame all of their problems on discrimination rather than accepting part of the blame. It's easier to stay on welfare and county assistance than to go out and get a job and work hard and succeed.

First off, take an English class. Second, you cannot stereotype the actions of one or even a hand full of people. They call discrimination because of people like yourself. Your type of people really make me worry of what society has come to.

A bit of work on the English may not have come amiss there.
Do you ever make an excuse, instead of taking responsibility? Same thing.

Your speech gives you away as just another bitter White American. The spelling aside, I think you asked a stupid question. But bump what I think; I have a question for you.
Why do 'white' people insist on referring to 'non-white' people as minorities when, in fact, they are the actual minority? Just curious.

Because it usually is discrimination like when I get followed all over the department store or pulled over and questioned as to how I can own my car...
Why do white people scream reverse racism when things don't go their way??? What is reverse racism? are you saying whites aren't supposed to be discriminated against but the discriminator?
