I am sexually attracted mainly to men (well, to their genitlbes anyhow) which would mean I am gay, right? But I routinely fall in a deep loving relationship with woman (not men). Men just have never given me anything on an emotional level to feel fullfilled in that way. How can this be?

What do modern day catholics think of gays and civil partnership. If you are gay and catholic do you feel you can still go to mass and be proud to be gay and catholic?

I have only ever slept with one guy, that was when i was a teenager(i am 23 now.).and i have never been with anyone else since. But i have never dated or looked at females 'that way' either.
It's not an issue to me,so should i just forget about it and get on with everyday life?
I have never told my parents about sleeping with a guy either when i was younger.

about the number of homophobes who are Christian? Mine is about 70% the other 30% are just people who are either uneducated, have a low IQ or never go beyond their own front doorstep
Of the whole lot, I believe they can be sub-divided into at least 75% being gay and in denial too

I know this guy who constantly calls me gay or openly tells me how dumb it is to be a lesbian and it really gets to me. I have told him time and time again to stop. Last night, in the middle of the night he sent me a text harassing me about it again. How can I avoid all of this? He doesn't get the picture that it is not amusing. Any ideas? Please no rude comments.

Have to bang on about how good it is being gay. I work with one and he seems to be obsessed with it. Its always `Did you know rock hudson and james dean were gay` etc.

He just seems completely obsessed and is extra camp on purpose. You dont hear us straight heads saying how good it is to be straight. And while were at it I think we should have straight only hotels and b&b`s like you do. This is discrimination in the extreme.

So my mom has confronted me twice within the last year (usually it happens on average once every 6 months, Lord forbid it happens again) about my sexuality. She doesn't want me to be gay and has threatened to make me go to a counselor or a pastor, in hopes to get it out of my system...

The final confrontation occurred over the phone in January. Since then it hasn't come up anymore, but around March she said that she knows I'm going to do whatever makes me happy. We get along for the most part, although I don't really feel comfortable around her and when I'm in her house (I live with my grandparents when I'm home from college). I avoid gay topics as much as possible, b/c of how close-minded she is. But she'll usually be the one to bring them up some kind of way. I thought maybe she was trying to bring it up so she could try to relate to me in some way. I'm trying to be positive about this whole thing, but it's hard, but I hope she will eventually come around.

What gets you cranky? I hate it when I carry a beeper at work & people still try to call me to get ahold of me. I also hate it when I am crossing at the crosswalk & cars speed up to go around me!

I have been wondering for about a year now. I have had a crush on one of my best friends for about two years now. I think i am gay, and I think he may be gay. We are both 16 years old, and have gone to skool 2gether since 1st grade. we g2 different skools now cuz he goes to a diferent highschool district. but we went to skool together for 8 grades. through those years and even now because we still hang out and what not, he hasnt told me of any crushes on girls, hasnt had any gf's, once we were goin pee and he pulled out his whole package next to me. another time we were wrestlin/havin pillow fight and i grabbed him from behind nd hugged him 4 like 2 mins and he didnt mind. another time we were in the basement and he was on the comp chair nd i came over and sat on him and he didnt care. he looks me in the eyes alot and smiles. do u think hes gay? what should i do? should i hug him? kiss him? ask him? show him my ___? lol any advice. many thanks!!!

Am a 19 year, going to graduate H.S and bound for college gay male. In the spanish culture its wrong to be gay.Its 2007, And my mom does not accept my sexuality. She thinks am the biggest failure even though am the first bound to college. My mom is very old (75) and may not have all the time to live but when ever we make a truce, it never last. All ways fighting about who i am and who am i with. She streeses me out to the point of depression where am a shame of what i become.i love my boyfriend. She states that she does not care about my sexuality but she insults me and my boyfriend calling us dirty, discusting, and failure. I dont know what to do to keep living with her but we keep clashing every time. i have times when i want to move out and erase her out of my life.Is this the best thing before one of us gets hurt?

I am an artist and enjoy making art that communicates certain ideas I have. Recently, I had a show that sold out in a few hours. But, it's very difficult to find others that are interested in art. Most people sit around and talk about Hollywood. Where are all of the Brunelleschi's and Rembrandts? Why does everything have to revolve around TV and sex. Does anyone feel like this will ever change and creativity will be re-born?

Just today I have read ignorant posts that state that homosexuality does not occur in the animal kingdom. Regardless of whether or not you believe homosexuality is moral or immoral, you can't deny that homosexuality happens in many other species.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_animals
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15750604

We are not talking only about animals that have occasional "flings" with an animal of the same sex simply because of animalistic sex drive, in many cases we are seeing these animals bonding for life just like other animals of the same species would bond with a partner of the opposite sex.

My question is how can this be denied after so much evidence has been found to the contrary? Is it ignorance or is it simple refusal to believe what is scientifically documented.
