I think my best friend is gay but he will not tell me. I think he wants too but i dont know what to say to help him. I am married and not gay and if he was i would still be his friend. he has a girlfriend but i just have a feeling. i need help.

I don't think you can be born gay. I think it is something psychological. Just like a straight person could turn gay or be bisexual. I think that since gays have started being so open about their sexuality, and more and more of this country being so accepting, that people are just jumping on the bandwagon.

You aren't born to speak english/french/spanish, you learn it as you grow. I think this is the same with gay people.

okay so i have this problem i think im bisexual...nobody knows and all of my friend are extemly homophobic .and i dont plan on coming out becuase i plan on marrying a girl and im kool with keeping things a secret i guess..but im in college and i know this gay kid and i told him to smoke a cigg with me...how do i tell him i might be bisexual and that i might want to hook up with him..but i dont want him to tell anybody on campus!! if he does i would be so upset..somebody help please

Everyone talking bad about gays... Well im not gay.. but alot of people on here are talking bad about them! They are gay.. NO BIG DEAL! And im sick of hearing it.. they are gay and you talking crap on them isnt going to change them!

I mean, geez, its like a damned fashion trend. Coming out of the closet these days is like saying you just bought a new pair of shoes. "OMG! Good for you, you should be so proud of yourself. So...do you pitch or catch?"

I hear a ton of very offensive comments every day, and I really want to put a stop to it but I do not have the guts to do it. I am afraid that if I ask people to stop, they will just say it more and louder. I've already approached the administration and teachers about this and they won't do anything... it is in my hands. But I am afraid to do anything for fear of making it worse, and also I do not want people to steal my stuff or anything. What can I do? I mean I would ask people to stop if I were talking with them but nobody I talk with says such things.

Would it be dumb/mean/out of line for me to just jump into a conversation when someone shouts "That's so gay!" or calls someone a f*g or a d*ke? I mean it really hurts my feelings, and makes me very angry. I wonder if I might lose my temper or start crying in front of them, which wouldn't help. And I can't go to my school's GSA because the principal won't allow one to exist. I feel like I am the only one who cares.

Help me!

Some of their questions are so absurd that they don't even deserve an answer. I think if we just stop answering their questions, eventually they will get bored and stop asking questions. It is the attention that they are looking for.

I am 16 years old (almost 17) and I am bisexual. I’m not confused like some adults might say because I’m a teen … I KNOW that I am bisexual. I know this is a long time away but it’s really bothering me so I need to ask this to see what other people think. I know for sure that when I’m older I eventually want to get married and I want to have kids some day. I would prefer to be married to a woman, not because that’s what I have been raised with and what society says is right, it’s because I would prefer to be married to a woman. I can’t imagine myself being married (or together for a long time) with a man. So just say I meet a girl and fall in love with her, and I eventually decide that I want to marry her, would it be wrong to marry her if I am bisexual? As long as I stay committed to that person, would it matter? Maybe one day I would rather be with a man instead of a woman … I don’t know, but if I was to get married tomorrow I would rather be married to a woman.

Im not gay but no matter where i go or who i meet every girl ends up treating me the same. I admit i am really girly and feminine for a straight guy, most people think im gay... but every time i meet a girl, she immediately sees how girly I am and wants to put makeup on me and get my nails done. Almost every time, we end up back at her apartment not to have sex but for her and her girl friends to dress me up and make me look like a doll so they can take pictures. I dont understand it and I cant take control or make them stop..when i ask them to stop they just tell me how cute and pretty i am and to stop acting like a girl. I just wanna know why this keeps happening to me.

What I don't get is why everybody is making such a flippin' big dal -about being gay. I mean who really cares that a big super-star celebrity being gay... you are always hearing stuff like, "Ellen Degeneras came out as gay" or "Former NBA player, John Amaechi, comes out as gay" Why do people really care about this?

It's not like the news will have a front page report saying, "Hillary Clinton is Straight!" What does it really matter who is straight and who is gay?
