Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - August 2006

I'm a lesbian, so for me the Adam and Steve argument does not apply. Who else is getting tired of hearing that in almost every ignorant debate?
And another thing, if some people are so sick of hearing our debate or sick of us in general, why oh why do they keep showing up here just to tell us how sick we are and they we're going to hell?
Kind of funny, I think.

My mom knows I am gay, but the rest of the family has no idea. .. They are mostly republican and they already expressed racist remarks concerning Gay people. Should I tell them I am gay? and How should I do it? Please help

I'm going into the entertainment industry, and I want people to see me as an artist before they see me as 'that lesbian actress' or 'the black lesbian actress'. For this reason, I want to avoid questions about who I'm dating and stuff like that for my first two or three movies ONLY. Don't get me wrong, I am totally proud, but I want people to get to know me for my talent first before knowing me for my sexuality. But I do not want to lie and say I date men, or that I'm not gay. After I finish doing the first couple movies, then I will let it be known that I'm gay ( by making a gay movie)so I can prove to people that you can be successful and gay,and if they liked me before, they should still like me. So, what's the best way to avoid people knowing without actually pretending to be straight? Should I just keep saying "I am not dating anyone right now"? when asked who I'm dating. When they ask what kind of guy I like should I respond by saying, "The type of PERSON I like..."?

Whether it's Yahoo! answers or offline in the real world,homphobic and ignorant straight people can't seem to get the fact that us gays will be around forever, and no amount of gay-bashing, marriage prevention, or insults is going to make us straight.They constantly continue to try to put us down and make us feel bad about ourselves, but they wil not win. They can say whatver they want to say, and do whatever they want to do, but gay men will continue to date men, lesbians will continue to date women, and bi people will continue to date both.It's our lives. Who really cares what they think? Don't they have better things to do in life? They don't see us constantly going around saying being straight is a choice, being straight is so disgusting, it's not God's plan( like what happens between us and God is their business anyway). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but they really need to stop wasting their breath and their precious time because gays will be here FOREVER AND EVER!

Hey guys... I am a 22 yr old lesbian. I have known I have been attracted to woman since I was in the 2nd grade. I am in a relationship now for the past year but sometimes I can't help to think that it would be so much easier to be straight. Intersex refers to people who are neither completely male or female. Some intersex people are XXY instead of male(XY) or female (XX) and there are other things that fall into intersex category.
Should intersex be taught in schools so if a girl has an intersex baby she doesn't freak out and send it off to surgery to make it a 'girl'. This way when the child grows up it can decide if it wants the surgery or not to be made into a female.

I read 1 out of 2,000 births is ambious, meaning the doctors don't know what it is.

i cant seem to get climax during oral/sexual satisfaction

i am lesbian i tend to feel the sensation and it goes away very quickly to the point where i tried over again i just get frustrated at times and at times it doesnt even bother me

I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months. I love him more than anything I know he feels the same way about me. Here's the problem: He was talking to 3 other guys online for about a month. I wouldn't mind if I believed they were only friends, but there was quite a bit of "naughty talk" and they exchanged nude pictures of each other(these were pictures he said he took for me). When I found out about it, I was completely crushed. He says he never intended on meeting any of them, but to me, it was as though he had cheated. He is completely remorseful for what he did, and I believe he's genuinely sorry, but I don't know that I really trust him anymore. I guess he never really did anything so completely horrible, but I felt completely betrayed and I can't stop feeling hurt by what he did. I really want to be with him, but I can't stop being angry.

Should I break up with him? Am I over reacting?

ON a dare I went on "devils plunge" the other night. For those of you outside the gay community in New york. That is a night when gay men go out and have as much unproteced sex with other men as possible. The winner gets to sleep with any other gay member of the community he wishes.

Anyway.. I slept with 14 guys unprocted on that night. And then I went home to my lifepartner ( who thinks I am mongomus) and had unproteced sex with him also.

That it's wrong to be gay? Without using your religious beliefs, because we live in a country that separates church and state and for sake of argument, let's say I don't believe the same things you believe in.
I know this question is getting old, bear with me. As with another question I asked yesterday, I'm having a debate and this is part of it. Just want to know everyone's opinion.

Okay, I am 20 and confused. I am able to notice a guy I think is hot or a guy with a good body, and also find myself starring at catalogs or pictures of muscular abercrombie-like guys and get an erection, and even jack off to this some times. Im not sure wheather its because I aspire to be more like that, and want to be like the guys in the catalogs, OR I just want to make out!

But I also am attracted to girls, and I find I' more picky with them appreance-wise. There are some girls in my class I like, and have jacked off fantasizing about them too. I am confused about my preferences, and have never done it with a guy, but I am curious with how it would be like.
