I'm sure too that with your apparent attitude that the Canadians are delighted you're not going there.

Just one thing, once we've moved to this island, what's going to happen to all the gay kids that are born of straight parents? At what age will you part them from their parents? And will this be a regular ferry service? Can Bisexuals get an Island too? Or do they get the option to spend six months on the mainland?

Okay, lets start with some geography lessons. Alaska IS in the USA, and there are many islands that are as well.

But if it bothers you that the U.S.A. is becoming more and more gay friendly and accepting every day, you may want to consider leaving. I'd rather you consider getting to know a couple of your gay neighbors or coworkers and find out that we aren't as scary as you think, but if you can't do that, go in peace.

Thank you for the kind offer -- given that according to the AMA about 8-11% of all people are gay however, and given that the population of just the US is close to 300,000,000 -- we are talking between 24,000,000 and 33,000,000 -- so I'm afraid we wouldn't fit on an island.

Besides, you realize that if we were on an island, and we made a nice society, and created things that the straight world wanted, you would just come and take it away from us.

It just isn't an answer.

A very, very dear younger friend however made me promise that I would never forget, and I never will -- a little gay planet. Nice, loving people -- no bigots. You can send your gay children there once a year. They won't be hurt -- no one will be hurt. We can trade goods and everything back and forth and all benefit.

No more Matthew Shepards (Blessed Matthew Shepard, pray for us), no more little Iranian gay boys being tortured, then hung, then slandered. No more pain for the innocent ones, just peace.

Please don't tell people you work in the emergency medical profession when you go around asking bigoted questions like that. It makes the rest of us look bad. Personally, I don't care for bigots, but I wouldn't ask all of you to move to an island just because I didn't agree with you. It's a free country, and you are free to believe what you want to. Gays and lesbians are also free to do so. Besides, what's wrong with them living in the USA? It's not like they litter more than the average person. How are they making it dirtier? I kind of think they are making it cleaner, by not breeding kids and creating a bigger overpopulation problem!

The best thing about this question is that it is being asked by a black Woman, i am not gay or predjudice, but I belive in peoples rights, and if we ask the gay people to leave, while we are at it we should also ask the black people to leave, they are stealing our Social Security and living on our hard earned tax dollars ( Welfare) and killing and raping, stealing and rioting, but on top of all of this get better jobs because they are black due to affirmitive action. No how much nicer of a place would it be if all of the black people left, then their would be great jobs for all of the gays and Social security for everyone, with no deficit and welfare for people who really need it, wow what a great idea.
