Can you believe this guy?

I think some of those christians don't even realise what atheism means. They think atheists *know* that there's a god, but they just deliberately dissobey. This guy didn't even want to find answers, he just wanned someone to aprove him.

What's your opinion?

You stated the verse in the gospel that told Mary she is pregnant and this, by the "holy spirit". What is that angel's name? And, why did it take so long to get to Joseph?
We(those who are true to HaShem)knnow the names of the angels who visited Abraham three days after he circumcised himself; Raphael, the healer, Michael, the messinger, and Gabrael, the strong one of G-d.
Also, is it possible that angels for Mary were added? Anyway, one more question, was G-d becoming man a change in/for/of Him?

The birthday of JESUS doesn't fall in December coz it is a winter time, because mary and joseph in that time have journey from jerusalem to bethlehem to find the house where they can have a rest for giving birth.:-)

It seems to me nothing can get in or out from outside of the universe. If I was to follow this, then it is more akin to a giant closed system.
The only way to consider it an open system is to allow for something outside of our universe, which can influence entropy.
(I had to place this question because all of the science apologists weren't looking in the physics section)

I was raised Roman Catholic so I remain Catholic because I like the religion and also I do not want to go to hell. I study other religions such as Islam and Judaism. I kind of like Judaism a lot better but I am afraid of converting because what if Jesus is real then I go to hell? What if Islam is the true religion and I am going to go to hell because i am not a Muslim. How does one know which one is right? What if someone is raised in a Muslim family and stays Muslim their whole lives? Isn't it just natural for them to follow their family traditions.........Now let's assume that Jesus is real would Jesus send the Muslim to hell? What about a kid in Africa that has never heard of these religions and he worships a pagaen religion?

Are these people going to hell? What does the Bible say about rape? I hope the guy that assualted me burns in hell! Do you think becoming religious will help me get over this assualt? Hi, my grandad was born in 1920 so this is his 87th Christmas and I'd like to get him something nice. He was born on a farm and grew up poor so that rules out nostalgia items I think, I duno he never talks about the past which is kinda sad. Nowadays he just watches the news and smokes, and goes from one of his daughters house to another. I'm sure most people will be getting him ciggarettes or socks but I dont want to give him those because a) I cant buy ciggaretts and b) they're repetive and not special.

So if you're 87 what would you like or if you are not, what do you think I should get my grandad? (Oh and I can't spend Christmas with him, he's with another family so don't say spending Christmas with him)

After reading many peoples posts on religion, it seems that alot of american people believe in some religion or other, compared to the UK where it seems to me that a vast majority of people, where I come from anyway, couldn't care less!

I'm looking for any evidence you can supply to prove the existence of your god or gods of any faith.

BEFORE YOU ASK! My only evidence for god(s) nonexistence is the nonexistence of evidence from theists to back up their claim. The theists make the claim that there is a god. Hearing this claim a person may or may not believe it. The burden of proof lies on the claimant.

ALSO - If belief in god(s) by a majority of the worlds population, and ancient books written by human beings were enough to convince me, I wouldn't already be an atheist.

I am open to looking at any other available evidence that may prove atheism wrong.

Jesus was defeated by the woman's wisdom:

"A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, 'Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession. Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, 'Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.' He [Jesus] answered, 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.' The woman came and knelt before him. 'Lord, help me!' she said. He [Jesus] replied 'It is not right to take the children's [Jews] bread [blessings and miracles reserved for them] and toss it to their dogs [the Gentiles].' 'Yes, Lord' she said, 'but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table.' Then Jesus answered, 'Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.' And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 15:22-28)"

It's funny how Jesus supposedly in the book of the New Testament, instantaneously ABROGATED his views and decision about the non-Jewish woman and people in general being equivalent to dogs when compared to the Jews. It is important to note that the woman, in this corrupted book, from the very start showed that she is a "believer" (what ever that meant back then). So it wasn't a matter of a "disbeliever" or pagan seeking Jesus' help.

The woman's wisdom defeated Jesus, the so-called "Creator of the Universe"! Jesus, within a second, changed his racist and trash-mouthed views against her from being a "dog" to a human being who deserves to be helped.



"I was sent ONLY to..." clearly and irrefutably means that Jesus initially claimed that he wasn't sent to other than the Jews!
