What part? Humanity? Civilization? All Life? or the Planet Itself?

ALL the options ever thought of are subcategorized alone.

I think it will be either cosmic radiation rays or a collision of solar systems.

Here is another, Plausible theory,

The World never ends, human technology preserves it, and possibly the sun as well indefinitely. Or converts the entire earth into a galaxy ship, or tears the whole thing apart for a fleet...?

Can you imagine voting to dismantle the earth, or "upgrade" it? Imagine the Political Debates!!!

Sorry, wernt you told, it ended years ago, when I was three years old, this is hell we are living in, don't you read the notices.

Or have you been going with the revisionist who think this whole hot as hell thing is what they have called global warming. When everyone knows hell is hot, after all the saying is 'hot as hell', not 'hot as global warming'.

But don't worry, if the revisionists are right, hells in for a burn out soon, teach them to run the joint with fossil fuel. Then we move on to Oblivion I think, or is that just a PC game?

Merry Christmas and a happy ending whenever to you

Watch the Middle East. The world will end in a cataclysmic nuclear war that begins with a conflict in the Middle East.

In fact, it may have already begun.

The "world" means the world as we know and understand it, the psychological, our world. Physically, the earth is going to be here a long time. That is not to say we won't do some serious damage to it and ourselves with our profligate consumption and disregard for nature.

The world is undergoing a paradigm shift now. We are making the transition from conceiving ourselves as nation-builders to conceiving of ourselves as planet-builders. It's a very difficult process, this paradigm shifting, as people are dragging their heels, kicking, and screaming, trying to fight it. We've gone from clan, to tribe, to village, to town, to city, to city-state, to empires, to nations. Now, it's time for the planet. Conceiving ourselves as one humanity sharing one planet is inevitable, not easy, but inevitable.

I do not waste my precious time on this earth thinking about how the world will end! Since nobody knows anyway when that will be, why spend time guessing, when you could be living life to the best of your ability happily with no fears.

The question is concerning the"world"
That is purely cosmological.
When the gravitational forces beteween the earth and the sun break down , the earth will be swallowed up by the sun.
forget armageddon, that only refers to mankind
