Just once, several years ago now. But it turned out it wasn't really worth it because it caused lots of rows with my boyfriend of the time which went on for weeks afterwards.

Yes. The best one I ever had was 1999/2000. Everybody was so focussed on getting obliterated that we opted out completely. People try too hard to have a good time. I saw in the New Year on a cliff top in Normandy, watching the fireworks go up all along the coast.

Yes, utterly fantastic ones. It used to be my favourite night of the year. The only nights that have been better have involved love making.

1984-92 were all brilliant.
