...that people will judge a religion (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, etc.) based on fanatics, and not realise that almost all promote beautiful morals, ethics, and community?

It just bothers me...

Just wondering because as a Freemason who has served in Iraq. I have been told I worship devils, goats, just about anything. With all these negative attitude in the states about Freemasons I am starting to think Iraq was safer. I mean after all Saddam and members of AlQuieda just behead Freemasons not try to crucify them with the sin of the world. Here is another thought for you if you decide to research my details. When was the last time you heard of a Catholic and Lutheran priest being beheaded by Islamic radicals. The fact that they are Christians known as infidels to such radicals would express their discontent for them. If you must know Saddam beheaded Islamic Freemasons because they would not allow him to jion.

I stand corrected! After re-reading and researching, I understand that the Nephilim were the hybrids of the fallen angels....it was the "fallen angels" who de-materialized and returned to the spirit realm...NOT the offspring of them who were hybrids, half-human and half spirit creature, so being "fleshy" they [nephlim] perished along with the rest of mankind in the flood.
Whew!!! I hope I presented it right this time, and if I didn't, brothers and sisters...please feel free to correct me.

Were you raised not believing in God. Or did you have problems with any religions, which turned you away from your beliefs in God.

Wouldn't that mean that all the other people created on the 6th day were still holy and without sin? Adam & Eve were not the first two humans on earth, but rather the first two of the Adamites.

I often think of the Holocaust, and the examples of the many people who risked their lives to help the persecuted. These are touching and inspiring accounts, and should be remembered and honoured as examples of courage, and indeed, righteousness. There are many other good examples from different times of hardship, too, when people raised their voices to speak out for what was right, when people acted in courage of conscience.

The good examples, however, obscure the fact that of the many who have risked much to help during such times, there are many more who remain silent, who do not act, who do not lift their voices, who do not speak out. What of the voice of conscience?

What's the responsibilty that we carry when we see injustice, when we see suffering? Does courage have limits? Mind you, I do not wish to second-guess the past or those who lived through it; I'm interested in how people think they would respond and why. Are we living in such times now?

Your thoughts?

aren't they aware of the embarrassment they're putting their sheeps into, making their sheeps spread their own opinion as facts that Catholics are not Christians, when everybody knows that Catholics are Christians? these evangelists are making their sheeps look ignorant and uneducated because of their own personal agenda, how sad.

In Exodus 20 we see the Ten Commandments as we usually know them. But later Moses breaks the tablets in Exodus 34 and God says "Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.", but they actually do not match. The 2nd set of commandments don't even mention killing, lying, stealing, or coveting.
Do Christians need to upgrade to v2.0? It seems they are following a down-rev'd covenant, v1.0.
