"In 1992, Pope John Paul II had Limbo removed from the catechism and both Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict XVI urged further study on the concept. In April 2007 Pope Benedict XVI approved the findings of a report by the International Theological Commission, a Vatican advisory body, which found grounds that the souls of unbaptised children would go to heaven, thus revising traditional teaching on Limbo.

"Parents were urged to continue to baptise their children, however, as the Vatican stressed that baptism is still considered necessary to achieve salvation."

I am a Buddhist (I think my name gave that away) but lately I have had no time for studying about Buddhism, visiting my temple, or even meditating! (Homework Ugh!) I go to a private Catholic school and raised by Catholics so it's not like I can join a club, which ive heard of in other schools. (Although my parents are very supportive of my descision, they drive me to the temple) Anyway, I am planning durning Christmas Vacation, from Saturday Sunrise to Monday's sunset, I'm going to sort of meditate and study and go to the temple nonstop sort of like a spirtual weekend in a sense. Do you have any ideas or tips cause I got this idea off of a Buddhist website. Any ideas?

Do you think that being gay is mother nature or mother nurture?
If it is mother nature do you think that its a part of mans evoultion or mother natures way of cutting down on population by creating men who like men and women who like women. If its mother nurture....do you think its because one parent showed to little or to much love?

I have this wierd thing that I like to do. In the summer at night, I go swimming naked in my pool at home. I do it when the moon is new so that I am not "on the spot light". Do any of you do the same thing. If not, I would really recommend it becuase it feels so good to just let go and swim naked. My sister did that once with her fiance. It sounds so nice. What do you think?

There is a religion on the Naked Mole Rat (NMR). He competes with the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM). Its background: Eternal creatures of everything except the things they didn't create.Their goal is total & utter domination! Plus some beer. Lots of beer. Their favorite food is Spaghetti Bolognase on toast with jelly. Their Arch Nemesis is the FSM/Anti-Rat Spray. Special abilties: sub-zero temperature rays, x-ray sense of smell, really big teeth, invuinerable to kryptonite unless thrown. The final twist to the story of Creation resulted on April Fool's Day, 187BC when the NMR kidnapped the FSM in his sleep. What is the NMR? Its a 20cm long, sausage-shaped pink thing. To join, you must hate and must not follow the FSM religion, you must eat spaghetti thinking you are eating part of the FSM (this shows total respect to you and the religion, and total disrespect to the FSM & its followers. You also have to worship the NMR.

I hear this all time. I find that I am less arrogant since I became an atheist. I realize that my place in the universe is so small as to be totally insignificant. When I look at the vastness of the universe the whole idea that if there were a creator, which I do not believe, that he would even know of my existance, let alone care if I had a cold or found a good parking place, is the heighth of pride. Yet, I am constantly being told that I am atheist because of my pride. This doesn't make sense to me.

Like you think that ....somebody like.......God..is talking to you?
If you are one of those people please do not be alarmed and do not think that you are a schizophrenic. The mind can be very tricky sometimes.

Do we find ourselves more defined by what we have done, or by what we have failed, or chosen not, to do?

Is there a construct where you can see both principles in operation, each with their merits and drawbacks? In such a construct, which initiative would you identify with more, the action, or the restraint?

Finally, which option does religion endorse more readily, action or restraint....or possibly reaction?

i just used this to answer a question about santa and jesus and thinking about writeing a short story about it what do you think?

santa was the the fourth wise man (who is rarely mentioned) he brought the jesus the most mportant gift of all happyness. as jesus grew santa was his mentor teaching him i nthe ways of the force. eventually santa died but was resurected by teh sacrafice of a bunny 3 days later (see easter bunny) by jesus. santa was also the guy on the cross jesus was actually an arian did i mention santa also is responsible for the great flood...
bottom line he dosent fit in with jesus just like jesus dosent fit with dec 25 that is our pagan brothers and sisters holiday

Or engaging in christmas traditions? Like Christmas trees, exchanging gifts, etc. Considering that it was a usurped PAGAN holiday to begin with? Can't they see they're complaining about people doing the same thing they're doing?
