um.....two parts hydrogen....one part oxygen

last year mythbusters did a test on that, and dont use bleach or plant grow. plant grow drops way too many needles and bleach turns it brown. they said the best was hair spray on the tree. but ive always just used non-chlorinated water or spring water and it works great. by the way they used a 5% mixture

Plain water is the best.

I have heard that dissolving a Tylenol in the water is supposed to be good for it but I can't imagine why or how.

I always used water and a little sugar, but you can also use that plant food they give you at the florist for you flowers to stay fresh longer.
