I hear so many say I need to be saved from sin. What sin? A 6000 year old mistake I had no part of? Okay here is the thing. I don't believe in Original Sin. I don't think the sins of the father should fall on the son. If God is all knowing and loving WHY would be he blame me for something two people did 6000 years ago? So with out Original Sin why do I need to be saved? There is no "nice" way to ask this, but don't Christins ever sick of being told they are worthless sinners for something they had no part in? What is the appeal of being a part of this?

in order for "behemoth" to be present in Job's time. Wouldn't there have been more accounts of dinosaurs in other cultures if dinosaurs had been around that recently? Why isn't the Bible full of dinosaurs attacking people?

I've been on here for a while, but it's really getting bad, tons of these questions are non-sense and are only put here to make people feel bad when the questions should help people learn.

I know and I am thankful to God for giving me what I have and making me what I am today, but sometimes I do feel like screaming at him... Why me?

I want to know why he made me the way I am, no looks, no money, no physical attributes to die for, no nothing! Just an average non entity type of existence. Why? I feel I am not meant for this kind of life. Most of the time I am thankful for me just living, but sometimes i want to break these shackles and scream........

Am I wrong in feeling to scream? Shud I supress this feeling and go on thanking God? Or should I scream? Will it help?

For example: When I was in Iraq, we often had Iraqi workers come onto the post for work. One day, I was walking by three workers as they were eating, and these two soldiers were just snickering, watching them. I stopped for a closer look (yes, I guess I was being nosy) and saw that the soldiers had given the Iraqi's MRE's-- pork-chow-mein MRE's, in fact, and had not enlightened the Muslims on the fact. I lunged forward and grabbed one of the MRE's, sending noodles and pork bits flying everywhere, while the two soldiers just LAUGHED at the whole thing.

I told the Iraqis what they were eating, which maybe I shouldn't have, because they were horrified-- almost to the point of tears-- that they had been eating pork.

Has anyone else seen this sort of utter degrade for another persons personal beliefs?

I love seniors, and on occasion I help out some of the older people I know from time to time. This is one of two questions I have today regarding the elderly, and I would like some firsthand answers from those of you 65 and over, please.

Why do so many of the elderly stop bathing as frequently, or at all? I understand that there are those who have limited mobility cannot bathe themselves, but I have known many who, despite the usual aches and pains associated with aging, are able to bathe, but don't. I see this as a recurring theme with so many seniors, and I am wondering; Is it a matter of just not caring anymore, or is it a matter of being more trouble than the person thinks it is worth to hop in a shower for 5 minutes?

I would hope that even if I were 80 and in so-so health, that I would still want to take care of my personal hygeine. I would imagine that these same people, when they were at my age, felt the same way, so I don't understand.

Thanks for your answers!

I heard it at church.
It goes like:
And He walks with me and He talks with me and
He tells me I am his own. And the things we shared as we terried there none other will ever know...
Something like that.
Know the song?

I was raised Catholic, and lived a tough life. Beyond my years of drugs, lying, pain and all that I did to continue that lifestyle, I have a belief in God-but unsure of specifics beyond that. My son, who is about to be 9, has a strong interest in God and Jesus (due to mostly my mother's influence). I find this to be fascinating...my mother lives half way across the country, but has this huge influence upon my son's life (as she should).

He reads the children's bible he has on a regular basis and begs to go to church with my mom and I every time she visits. He loves the catholic church and loves reading and learning stories about Jesus.

My question...what do I do with a child that has such a thirst for Jesus? I am not sure whether I believe in him or not, but if my son does then I want to support that. But, obviously I am not the teacher for him. I cannot answer his questions without feeling like a fraud. I want him to believe what I had, and have, such a hard time believ

Why not Atheists vs. Jews, Muslims, or Christians vs. Hindus?

Personal experiences? Paranoia? Explain...

Personally, my highschool years left a bad taste in my mouth towards Christians, which I am still getting over. Yet, I still try to get along with everyone...though some still try and shove things down your throat.

What you think? Religions all over the world seem to have this message that God will come one day to destroy all evil including his bad evil angels as well as his created evil humans except a few humans God thought is not evil or have a good heart of change.

What will happen in 10,000 years from now without a sign of any supernatural beings on earth??? Will Humans accept religions and God or Gods are men made up inventions or will they continue to invent new religions to worship???

90% of all humans now believe in the existence of some sort of God but what about 10,000 years from today? How many percent would you think will believe in the same God or Gods as today?

Now we all know this is the case with the United States and Saudi Arabia, But what would all the rest of you Christians do? Would you support the leaders of a country that is so high on Human rights violations and has made your religion illegal? How much money would it take for you to Shake their hands and visit them?
