Now we all know this is the case with the United States and Saudi Arabia, But what would all the rest of you Christians do? Would you support the leaders of a country that is so high on Human rights violations and has made your religion illegal? How much money would it take for you to Shake their hands and visit them?

A very thoughtful question, but of course the U.S. is NOT a "Christian nation". I wish fundie Christians would actually STUDY American history instead of simply believing whatever is served down from the pulpit.

As for "W" being a Christian . . . if he truly is then that doesn't reflect favorably upon others who call themselves Christians. Then again, do you judge a religion by its high and mighty dogma or by the routine behavior of it's followers? I've always felt that actions speak louder than words.

The U.S. is a Christian nation, most people here are Christian and we also began as Christians, Their are churches on every street corner, and 98% of the people believe in G-D. All I would do is pray for them, what else can some one do. Being a Christian President still means you have to deal with other nations, wheather they allow or don't allow your faith, the govenment of Saudi Arabia are the ones that will pay someday.

I just want to state that the US is a secular nation. The constitution does not mention any deity, much less YHWH.

Bush has to play ball with the Saudis so we can have a friendly Arab nation in the region and so we don't have trouble with Opec.

well that is a delicate issue as I wouldn't want to cut my nose off despite my face. I would not invite a war with those nations but I also would diplomatically disagree with their human rights violations and I would have to pray for a solution.

We support Israel and they do not permit missionaries, either.
