I know and I am thankful to God for giving me what I have and making me what I am today, but sometimes I do feel like screaming at him... Why me?

I want to know why he made me the way I am, no looks, no money, no physical attributes to die for, no nothing! Just an average non entity type of existence. Why? I feel I am not meant for this kind of life. Most of the time I am thankful for me just living, but sometimes i want to break these shackles and scream........

Am I wrong in feeling to scream? Shud I supress this feeling and go on thanking God? Or should I scream? Will it help?

When I said Money adn looks, it doesnt mean that those are the only things that I value, there are things more important in life than money or looks, and I am aware of them, but sometimes these too are important to live a life.

No, it's not wrong to feel like screaming, but it's wrong to not scream. Absolutely no suppression; you better start screaming right now, and I better hear you. Then, after you're done, thank god again. For letting you scream.

It seems like you are feeling really down and asking the question, "Why am I stuck in the same place every day doing the same thing and nothing I do matters?"

You're off to a good start. Yahoo! Answers is a good place to have these heart-to-heart talks. You can get some really encouraging comments without having your privacy invaded.

My advice is that you find some fellow Christians to talk to about your problem. In fact, I don't think it's even a problem. Don't worry. God created each of us with a purpose. Pray and ask him, and he will eventually reveal it to you . He will give you direction in your life, and ultimately lead you home in heaven.

PS: I was also screaming this question at God when my little brother (13) was killed almost 2 weeks ago. He was the sweetest child I knew and the best example of a young Christian. But God has helped me get over that pain and realize that we will see each other again, and that once we have him, we always have something to fall back on. I hope this helped.

Screaming would probably only alert your next door neighbors, who would probably then call the police, and where would you be then?

And if your so displeased with yourself and your place in life, why should you be grateful? These two values are inconsistent.

The two things I see that you have going for you, are your humility and honesty. These are no small things in the overall scheme of life.

Pat yourself on the back for these very enviable virtues; they are very rare nowadays.

Have a little confidence in and and respect for who and what you are: you do keep trying, and some day you'll succeed. Relax, and try enjoying who you are, and stop knocking yourself down.

Good luck,

Wotan

You need to pray for contentment in your life. Being content is very important. Sometimes I wake up and I feel like everything is so mediocre. But look at what your saying looks, money is that all that is really important to people now? You can be the richest man in the world and be miserable and unsatisfied always wanting more and more money. The most beautiful person who ever lived and be not good enough. Spend less time saddened and find something thats worth being passionate about, as much as the media wants people to think money and looks is all that matters and thats all that will bring you happiness their sadly mistaken. Think about famous rich good looking movie stars who got into drugs and died because of it recently this year anna Nicole smith died. We always tell ourselves I would be happier if .... but its usually just not the truth.

RAKSHAS you too .. Ha-ha
First of all I will change my avatar name is it Rak-shakas or Rakh_shas.
We all go through it all the time.
Chalti Chakki Dekh Kar, Diya Kabira Roye
Dui Paatan Ke Beech Mein,Sabit Bacha Na Koye
Translation
Looking at the grinding stones, Kabir laments
In the duel of wheels, nothing stays intact.
Diya Kabira Roye) Kabir cries out, however, is what makes the reader to contemplate on this Doha and realize for oneself the hidden meaning behind this metaphor. Dui Patan here signifies earth (Prithvi) and sky (Akash) and within the ambit of these is all creation and life as also the manifestation of all natural phenomenon of dualities – day and night, life and death, joys and sorrows, thereby making life forever in motion (Chalti Chakki) and an ever changing process. Trapped in this duality, whatever we see is perishable. Nothing that we comprehend is eternal.

Yes, and I do. But the funniest scream lately was last night. I was just falling asleep and out of no where my Locke Lost action figure shouted "Don't tell me what I can't do" and I let out a blood-curdling scream. I mean, how did it go off without being pressed? Yes, Lost action figure...haha

God is either nonexistent or unknowable. Either way, it isn't really worth worrying about.

Life is inherently unfair. So it would behoove you to stop wanting or expecting it to be fair.

Struggle is a necessary part of life because we must adapt to the world, not the other way around.

If you want to scream at someone for the way your life is, start with the people who gave you the genes and raised and socialized you to be who you are. You never know, it may guilt trip them into giving you some money.

you sound like me...SCREAM FOR HIM TO HELP YOU.

but I am good looking(and I could get some pretty hot chicks), but the ladies do not like me because I know so much about the flesh...they think I am crazy. I try and show them why is it so easy to hook up. Why do you have the ability to like other men, why do I get jealous easy? Why does she get Jealous? The sexual knowledge is no different than that of a beast. So now I search unto God for a wife, and heaven is my thrown, not here. But thankfully I am still a virgin, for the treasure is still there. What is holiness with a woman? What is Gods way? What is one woman? What does one woman feel like? How do you desire one woman? What would it be like IF GOD GAVE YOU A WOMAN?

Dear Brother

The following poetry might touch your heart.

Layee Hayat (life) Aayee Qada (death) Le Chali Chaley
Apni Khushee se Aaye na Apni Khushee Chaley

(Poet Unknown)

The life brought us, we came and death shall take us away.
Neither we came with our will nor with our will we be away.

Na tha kutch to Khuda tha, kutch na hoga to Khuda hoga
Duboya mere hone ne, na mai'n hota to kiya hota?

Poet unknown.

God was there when nothing was there
God shall be there when nothing will be there
I am doomed because I am there
What I would have been if I was not there?

May God Bless You and Give You Contentment Amen.

Ignorance, Karma, inevitability...the earth is shaking us up. Nature reflects the great shaking loose of the frozen false egos, stuck in duality thinking. By all means, scream...sob...rant. Let loose all that binds you. It is happening for me, too. And we are not alone. In the midst of this great pain is the gratitude for this experience. It is what it is; and it is changing in every moment. You are riding the wave of your discontent and will soon crash on the shore, merging back into the ocean of your being. I'm on the next wave over. See you in the One. Until then I share with you what Love and Light I am capable of in my own limitation. I am Sirius

When Adam sinned, it caused man and all creation to fall into decay. Thus many people do not have perfect bodies. This is Adam's fault not God's.

However, God has given you gifts which are important for the church and world. You need to find out what those gifts are.

There are charisma gifts, 5 fold ministry gifts, and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Find out which ones you have and become important!
