I really do not want another present.

I have told all my family for several years, not to by anything for me.

They insist. That's all I need is 40 presents, that I don't need and don't want.

Sooo, I told them, if they buy something this year, that it better be something they like, because I intend to give it back.

It's really out of hand.

For my birthday, the florist's, delivered 8 flower arrangements.

They were beautiful but 1 would have been, more than enough.

I hope I don't sound mean. Actually, I'm quite nice.

After I watched Will Smith's Movie, The pursuit of Happiness, all the heck, I want is a Rubiks Cube, but if I say it, I don't want to end up with 40 of them. I told one person. Now I'll wait and see what happens.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR"

Tabu.

LOL - Southern Comfort's answer made me laugh. I was married to my ex for 15 years. For some reason in the beginning of our marriage he thought all women liked Tabu perfume. Maybe it smells nice on some, but it gagged the life out of me. Every other year without fail he bought me a new bottle. I actually nicely explained to him several times that this wasn't my scent. I'd write him a list when he'd ask for one. He still didn't get it. Either he was dense or stubborn. I had a couple of older female friends who knew they'd get a new bottle every other year. At least someone was happy about it!

I have to agree with everybody saying they don't want to be sick on Christmas day. Plus, I know I do not want any fruitcake. One year, I got a set of Currier and Ives placemats. If you know anything about my tastes, that definitely did not fit in.So, I regifted just like the person who gave them to me had probably done. LOL I will be lonely, though, with no family.

Sick first second anothe bottle of White Diamonds. My husband decided our first year together that he would select for me a signature scent. Wonderful thought but he has given it to me so often that I gently reminded him I had some and would not be needing any this year. My daughters call it "old lady" perfume but they sure do use mine a lot.

a cookbook
a fiction book
anything to do with "growing old gracefully"
slippers, nightgowns, robes
writing paper
food/fruit/candy baskets

What would I really, really *like* to get? A floor-standing punching bag or even a "Bob" type. Yes, I am serious about this!
