Example:I've been called "weird" by my classmates throughout high school and middle school just because I have different tastes in music, films, dress differently (people actually copy my style), and say things sometimes randomly, oh and I'm on Adderall so I don't talk that much.

In fact a boy thought I was so weird he asked me why I fake it, basically he thinks its all an act, I try hard to be different.

What I think is funny is that people who label things weird that I know of, are (hypocritical of me yes), but are some pretty goofy "odd balls" themselves
-like refusing to pass a test back to me because they think i'm weird,

-freaking out if they think a girl likes them (they're 17 and are guys) so they spread lies about the girl

-look my my address in the student directory and look it up on Google Earth and tell me(creepy)
Hmmm

Isn't it really just a fashionable fad? And just as untrue as Christianity?

Why are you so bent on destroying all the laws in this country and pushing your view of religion on everyone. Christians in other countries are not like this. No one is out to get you, we don't care.

You can get this deleted, but that would only prove you have no justification for what you are doing.

or a different race?

2007-12-19 16:54:42 · 59 answers · asked by Wickwire 5 in Senior Citizens

For some reason this question was deleted and I never recieved a notification. So, We'll try it again.

Many non-Pagans have asked me this and I would like other Pagans to answer it from their individual perspectives according to their traditions.

I believe that we spend a time in Summerland to rest and review the lessons of our life, determine our next set of lesons in the next life, develope a plan for undergoing those experiences and plan for the circumstances that will best enable us to learn that knew spiritual knowledge. What are YOUR concepts?

This is NOT to serve as a platform for Fundamentalists from ANY Religion to shower with their Dogma. the Fundamentalist dogma is already available for public dissemintation. This is YOUR chance to learn about who us Pagans are, how we worship and some of our basic beleifs. The intent is to provide quality knowledge and understanding so that there will be less fear of us that occurs from a lack of knowledge.

I had a chance to see the chronology of Bible that the incidence in the Garden of Eden happened somewhere around at 4000BC, which is about 6000 thousand years ago. What says so? Isn't this one of the numerous theories given by Catholic scholars hundreds of years ago? Does the Bible says certain time concerning the creation?

I am neither an Atheist or a Theist. Here is why.

Just because you can't prove the existance of God(or Gods, or supreme beings, what have you), does not mean that he/they do not exist.

Just the same, the simple fact that you can't prove God doesn't exist, does not mean that he does.

There is no way we can currently determine whether or not there is a supreme being/beings, so whether or not you believe or disbelieve is completely based on faith, or a lack there-of. Believing in God simply because you can't prove he doesn't exist is just as absurd as NOT believing in God because you can't prove he exists.

This is why I believe both Atheism and Theism are equally absurd. Do you agree or disagree?

So, for all of you people who think that God is non-existent or if he is existent he's cruel and meaningless, what good and unselfish reasons have you to date or get married? Is marriage not a gift from God that was meant for two sinners to come alongside one another and together work towards giving glory to our Creator? Or is God worthless and we just "love" (whatever that means to people nowadays) for the sake of "love". Mutual attraction is a key aspect in marriage, but what happened to its original purpose.

(Please no insulting comments. They are only hurtful and do not make your opinion look that much better.)

from my last question, i unintentionally uncovered this question from many atheists. If God's will be done, then how do we have free will?
well,
God's plan and will are not always done. He has a plan for everyone, but the thing is, everyone has the power to either follow it, or don't. We pray that His will may be done, because we have free will and that we want His plan for us to be done instead of ours, after all, our plans suck because we are fallible humans.
so,
God has a plan that He HOPES people will follow, but that doesn't mean people HAVE to.

Nature-based.
Belief that "All Gods are One God." and "We are all children of the same Universe."
Mother Earth should be revered.
Respect for all living creatures.
Belief in reincarnation.

Now, I know most of this sounds like Wicca.
The main part is "All Gods are One God." I guess my question is, Being Wiccan, is it ok to consider going to a Christian church a form of showing respect to Mother Earth (whom I consider my Goddess), because of that "All Gods are One God" belief? The way I see it, the good message is there, and I take the sermon and interpret it to fit my beliefs. I was wondering if some would consider that hypocritical or degrading to one religion or the other. Any opinions on that?

Thanks! ~Sorry if that sounded confusing....
