Why is there a phobia towards all things "weird"?

Example:I've been called "weird" by my classmates throughout high school and middle school just because I have different tastes in music, films, dress differently (people actually copy my style), and say things sometimes randomly, oh and I'm on Adderall so I don't talk that much.

In fact a boy thought I was so weird he asked me why I fake it, basically he thinks its all an act, I try hard to be different.

What I think is funny is that people who label things weird that I know of, are (hypocritical of me yes), but are some pretty goofy "odd balls" themselves
-like refusing to pass a test back to me because they think i'm weird,

-freaking out if they think a girl likes them (they're 17 and are guys) so they spread lies about the girl

-look my my address in the student directory and look it up on Google Earth and tell me(creepy)

So you're all judgmental against the creepy guy who you think is stalking you, but then you pride yourself on being weird, is that it? I think you just like the attention. You should just be yourself if you can figure out what that is. Otherwise, just dial down the drama and stop trying so hard to do things to get people's attention. People need to see the real you in order to like you or not, and you're so concerned with how you come off to others that it's hard to figure out if there even is a real you.

because that's our society, people will always think that is weird when somebody else does something different.
For example if you are a guy and you don't date or you show your emotions you will be cataloged as gay, when this is very rarely the truth.
People have this group mentality and impose social norms. If you watch tv, you'll see how this norms are imposed. You should look like that, act like that, have that tastes etc
I think it's important to be yourself whatever you do and do not conform
