other cultures do talk about dinosaurs--the called them dragons. the word Dinosaur is a fairly new term and they used other names in its place. Ancient recopies called for Dragon's meat. They probably hunted dinosaurs and killed them off into extinction.
They were on the Ark. Noah was smart enough to build an ark he was probably smart enough to get a Baby Dinosaur just make sure you get a pink one and a blue one.
People are attacked by dogs, elephants and squires yet these animals are also not mentioned in the bible. yet you know all 3 exist..
I think that If you killed a Big Dinosaur that was somewhat of a threat then you would be a hero. Many people rushed out to kill threatening Dinosaurs because they would either receive a prize such as "the kings daughters hand in marriage" or some sort of money or have it on record that you were the one to defeat such a monster. I say somewhat threatening on purpose because over the years our oxygen and hydrogen levels are not as rich as they once were.. Dinosaur growth is dependent on oxygen just as insect growth is also Dependant on oxygen.. there were much larger insect and dinosaur bones due to the oxygen to mass ratio of these creatures--however, over time as oxygen level and richness depletes so does the size of these creatures making it easier to kill them.. thus, the reason for their final demise..
The Bible does not mention dinosaurs attacking people because the dinosaurs were not as massive as they were near creation and also the greatest explanation is that:
The Bible accounts are centered on the coming messiah and the birth and crucifixion of Jesus and does not concern itself with the names of most wild life--thus the reason you do not find elephant mentioned in the Bible yet you know it exists..
It is hard to determine when Dinosaurs died out because we can not rely on carbon dating, potassium argon dating or any of the other flawed types of dating bones. If you find a bone in the dirt all you know is that it died. you don't know if it created kids. or if it existed in a certain ERA since most bones are found in random places. ALL YOU KNOW IS THAT IT DIED.
The Dinosaur Behemoth existed--so therefore Noah had to have Dinosaur Babys on the ark.
And God did not write much on the killing of these creatures because God was more concerned with Getting the word out about his Son Jesus Christ--and if you don't know him I think you aught to meet him.. He is a wonderful friend and he saved my life..
--Behemoth characteristics..
Well now it does say that his tail is long like the cedar tree does it not? the only creature which tail bone is long like a tree would be well hmmm.. a Dinosaur? very good.. who ever uses categories as we humans do to classify these creatures as birds have delusions because if you believe that you are seriously mistaken.. We believe that these creatures came after their own kind. so a Bird did not give birth to a Dinosaur.. and YES a Dinosaur would be a Land Dwelling Creature--once again Sea Dwelling creatures are just that Sea Dwelling creatures stop using Mans classification system which does not work.. God created these creatures not Man.. We classify them as the Bible says.. as God says "after their own kind".. not species..
Thanks

Actually, I have looked this up myself, and after talking to both priests and scientists, I have come up with an answer.
In the Bible, it says that God created the Earth in 6 days, but nobody said that they were specifically 24-hour days. We have no idea how long the days were even when there were dark times, that doesn't mean it was the passing of a day, just a passing of light. Also, if you look on a decent time-line, it says that the dinos were around a looong time before Job was. the BC time-line counts backwards. The Triassic Period was 199-251 million yeas ago.. do the math. I calculated that it would be around 22,997,992 years ago (I can't figure out what numbe the year would be since the BC goes backwards.. it's late i and I don't feel like doing the math). I honestly believe that that was before Job's time, lol, but that's just my humble opinion.
I hope this answers your question. :)

You answered your own question w/ your addition. If behemoth ate grass and sat under a tree... when was he attacking and eating people?
Obvious it was a docile creature. And the recent large bones washed up could be leviathan. Just cause something is big doesn't mean it harms man. How many reports do you hear of big foot eating or even killing anyone? Never, not even all the way back for thousands of years through the Native Indian stories. They smell, are rude, etc... but no reports of them being violent.
And dino's are still alive today... few realize it. We just call them reptiles today for the air, ozone, oxygen chamber effect of earth is now gone and changed.

Since there were no records of these creatures any comments are built upon conjecture.
I believe they were on the Ark and later, even scientists have come to this conclusion that a massive meteor shower had something to do with their demise.
The Bible is a message God Himself gave man and every little thing that occurred in the annuls of history could not possibly be in one book for it is not so much a history book but the plan of God for man. Past, present, future. It is also not a science book so asking complicated science questions does not really make much sense.

Dinosaurs died out some time after the ark. They actualy could possibly even be around still today.. Lochness and lots of those sea monsters could be dinosaurs. We would actually have had no worries from dinosaurs(dragons) till after the flood. Before the flood everything was vegetarian.

There's no such thing as dinosaurs. All those dinosaur bones were planted by the same devil worshipping heathens that created the Land Before Time series, also known as the most blasphemous childrens film series ever made.
read your bible!

The dinosaurs could not survive well with the changed atmosphere and died out quickly after the flood.

As much as I know that my answer probably won't mean anything to you, here goes . . .
Noah was smart enough not to bring any big dinos aboard, so he grabbed a bunch of baby ones. When they got off the ark, the climate had changed so dramatically that they could not survive, and died shortly thereafter.
Simple version.

Who knows? I do think dinosaur and man coexisted a long, long time ago. I don't know if I trust the Biblical account of creation. But dragons, anyone?
