This is evidence that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the Designer. He only made spaghetti and meatballs in His image. The first man (a midget) was a drunken afterthought.

Laser beam eyes have become your obsession!!!

First off: No intelligent design. If YOU were doing the designing, you could install the laser beam eyes. (Kind of a dual function, though, both gathering light for seeing and emitting light for ... whatever. Kind of multi-purpose, like the male organ.)

Second: Natural selection has found no advantage to laser beam eyes when we have other ways of defending ourselves ... such as building laser beams that we can carry in our hands. Once again, we can get what we want, but we have to supplement heredity. And according to my email, we've figured out how to do that with the male organ, too.

because God has designed us with so many wonderful attributes that we don't realize or care to use, like loving people everywhere, helping each other reguardless of the sex, color or religion. We take these things for granted. we would take the laser beam eyes for granted too. So why waste the laser beams?(smile)

Erm, actually, i know they don't have those.

And the "image" of God is always mistaken for an image that we would see in a mirror, a physical image. No, the "image" that we reflect is the image of the soul. We have a soul, and we have the ability to love, just like He and Jesus do. THIS is the "image" that we are in.

If we were in a physical image, i would be curious to see what God would look like! There are so many different-looking human walking on the earth, i wonder what His eye-color would be...

According to the Bible, we see that God made man in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). I don’t think that means God has ten fingers and ten toes, but rather that He gave us an eternal spirit with free moral agency (unlike the animals that act mostly out of instinct). Physically, we are like the animals, but mentally and spiritually, we are not.

To NH Baritone:

"Second: Natural selection has found no advantage to laser beam eyes when we have other ways of defending ourselves"

NH Baritone, the problem with this statement like many similar statements mad by atheist is that it implies that natural selection is thinking, reasoning, deciding something;and only living beings can do this.So the statement is illogical and very false.

God had nothing to do with it. And there is no such thing as laser beam eyes. (What would be the point?)
