I guess it's because Christians are most vehement about spreading their faith. I'm one of them. I love Jesus and want to tell others about him. There are also some atheists here who are pretty set in their own ways.

Surprisingly enough, not too many Muslims and Hindus hang out on English forums. Go figure, huh? :P
The rest is just a matter of numbers. There's actually more atheists than Jews in North America.
... oh, and that and Christianity is much more predominant in society and I'm sure all of us have our own reasons for coming here and getting it out of our systems. ;)

Christianity is the most common religion in our societies. If we were on a web site that had mostly Muslims or Hindus it would be more common for them to debate with Christians and atheists both.

I have equal contempt for all three Abrahamic religions.
Christianity is the religion I know the most about, since I spent 20 years of my life as a Christian. It's also the religion that affects my country most.

There aren't a lot of Muslims, Jews, or Hindus here. There is a significant block of Wiccans & Pagans, but most are Christians or Atheists, with a smattering of self-identified Agnostics and Buddhists.

Christians tend to wield their majority status like a club and an entitlement. Coupled with a hyperactive persecution complex, this is a guaranteed recipe for volatility with a group of people that have decided that the lack of evidence for God is sufficient to deny that God exists.

people are opinionated and it seems that these two groups are extreme on opposite ends of the spectrum and for some reason they are not tolerant of one another. this is why I choose not to claim a religion. I believe in what I believe and it doesn't matter what you believe in. Christians are very strong in their beliefs as are atheists and it seems that they are the most prevalent of religions on here.

That would be called 'passion' when people are passionate about something they often times cannot control themselves...
And don't judge all christians by some ..They are all not the same ...Just like I have had 'unfriendly' encounters with all the above you have named as some you did not but I will not assume they are all butt-heads ...lol...
Good question! Take care....

It is a manifestation of the struggle that has been waging in the spiritual realm for centuries between God and Satan, good and evil, light and darkness. Extreme opposites at war with one another in an ongoing conflict for the souls of men.
