Would you rather work in a gas station, a restaurant, or retail ?

I've never worked in a gas station or a restaurant, but I have worked retail, and I liked it quite well. I sold computers.

Retail- better discounts and you don't get as fat as u would working in a restaurant or stink as bad as working in a gas station. (I have worked in all 3)

gas station..I've worked in both restaurants and retail and as far as I can tell when working in either of these jobs the boss thinks he/she owns you. I worked nights, weekends, holidays and anytime the phone rang I was told that I either come in to work or look for another job...so I looked for another job.

I would like to work in a gas station that sells food and retail items. That way I could satisfy my three loftiest goals.

I've done it all. Restaurants are fun when you are younger, I vow never to go back to one now.
I think gas stations are good because you get to know your co-workers and all kinds of interesting customers. downside is working holidays.

Working in a restaurant is a great way to learn the art of dealing with all sorts of people, i.e. rich/poor, friendly/rude, mature/childish, couth/uncouth!

I'd rather be unemployed, I hate dealing with the public. I'm not a "people" person.
If I absolutely had to, could we switch restaurant out and replace it with bar? Babysitting drunks is alot easier! And if done correctly leads to great tips!

Retail. I did it in college and actually enjoyed it (at least as a teenager).

Restaurant because the work is standard and it's easier to please people who dare not offend you too much because their food is at your mercy.
