Do they take over whole towns living among each other or mix well into your neighbourhoods?

This just popped into my head. Although I personally am not particularly religious myself I thought it interesting that billions of people believe God spoke to "prophets" long ago. Why is it that today, when people claim that God speaks to them, they are either condemned as crazy or heritics?

The LORD spoke to Ahaz, saying:
Ask for a sign from the LORD, your God;
let it be deep as the netherworld, or high as the sky!
But Ahaz answered,
“I will not ask! I will not tempt the LORD!”
Then Isaiah said:
Listen, O house of David!
Is it not enough for you to weary people,
must you also weary my God?
Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign:
the virgin shall conceive, and bear a son,
and shall name him Emmanuel.

i do not understand these verses.
can someone please explain?
and please?
(:

Last week on NPR, he refused to answer whether he believes in Creationism, and said it was silly that they were asking him questions about his "personal beliefs".

But, right on his website, he says, "my faith defines me"... Shouldn't NPR have the right to ask questions about what he says defines him?

rooted a pineapple top? I bought a nice fresh pineapple at market yesterday and was trimming it this AM when I remembered that I had once rooted a top and it grew into an interesting plant but it a long time ago and I've forgotten how I did it. Do I put it in water or soil? And yes, I know it sounds like I'm rapidly approaching terminal boredom and that may just be true. My computer is filing abuse charges against me. It claims to be overworked and grossly underpaid.

Okay.. so I just moved into an different apartment in the same complex I've been in for a little over a year.
I've been there less than a month and my neighbors have complained 3 times about my "loud music."
I know it's not "too loud" because my former neighbor, whom I lived above for a solid YEAR never complained!!
I had to turn the music almost all the way down for them to stop banging on the floor.
I know they're entitled to quiet enjoyment of their apartment, but I'm also entitled to be able to play music or have the TV on without constant complaints. AND IT'S NOT EVEN THAT LOUD!! Yet, they can stomp up and down the steps, which are attached to the other side of my livingroom wall and I haven't bitched once!!
I realize this is part of aparment living, but if they keep complaining, I could be evicted for nothing!!
I pay rent here, too and I should be able to enjoy music or watch TV without having to worry if this ***** is complaining again!!
what do I do?!?!?

The Gospel of the Nazirenes is the original New Testament. The original followers of Jesus (The Essenes) had to go into hiding, bieng they where being killed by the Roman Government becaue they where following Jesus. They took the original New testament with them into a Bhdhist Temple where it was found and is now available with historical documentation of its authenticity. All you have to do is read it and see that maks all sense. More than the Bilbe of today, whch there ar now thousands of sects who speculate on what the meaning of it is. The fact is in 324 AD King Cosntantine with his click of scribes changed the Bible to control the citizens. I am so glad I know what Jesus originally said. You can too. For info google gospelofthenazirenes.com Following Jesuses original teachings will set you free.
