False. One is known dead. The other non-existent. You figure which is which.

I had lunch with Elvis last week in a little cafe in Alabama. We had some delicious greasy cheeseburgers and fresh apple pie. Elvis definitely believes in God. Atheists struggle with the belief of a higher or supreme being than any other group of humans as you will soon learn they are very educated on the religions and sciences! I feel sorry for atheists as they are tormented beings believing their destiny is to live a short life of some 70 to 100 years and then returning their bodies to the earth for her consumption. Atheists are very logical, rational, educated and scientific lot. So an atheist would believe in God way before believing Elvis is alive because every atheist I have known believes something, someone, some orders of events had to take place to cause creation. It would probably take very little proof to sway an atheist towards GOD due to the fact they are inwardly looking so hard! and also because everyone knows that Elvis has to be dead! Except for me of course, because I can tell you Elvis is alive and well and still shaking those hips!

False. An atheist doesn't believe in God, by simple definition of an Atheist. An atheist could believe that Elvis was still alive or not, it has nothing to do with being an atheist. However, it would make them an idiot and an atheist.

HAHAHAHA!!!!

Ok so i read your question and I thought you said Evils and not Elvis. So I wrote this:

false. I do think good and evil exist, but not as entities like god and devil. They are a natural part of humanity. Good vs. evil is one of the things that seperates us from the rest of the animal world. God does not have to exist for there to be good. Think of it this way, if Beethoven had not existed, would that mean there would be no music? If Newton had not been hit in the head with an apple, would there never have been gravity? Just one way to think about it.

But to your real question i would also say false. On several accounts. Most Atheists consider the possibly of god at least a few times in their lives. Second of all, Elvis could possibly still be alive, considering the fact that he once really was alive. I also think that the possibility of him being an alien and returning to his home planet (and therefore still being alive) is more probable than a God. A majority of my friends are very religious and i defiantly see how they can believe in it, but it just isn't for me.

Hahaha...hurray for dislexia....hope that helped.....

Well an Atheist has made the conclusion that God does not exist. So it's not a question whether or not they'd believe one or the other - due to the fact that an atheist can not possibly believe in God; it's simply, does he or she believe that Elvis is alive or no.

Sorry to get all technical on you, but your question seems worded to put down atheists, and as an American - I don't find that all too constitutional.

Interesting question though :)

False! I'm atheist, and I believe that Elvis is as dead as... I don't know, some other dead guy. All atheists don't like Elvis... And some do consider the fact that God may be real. To me Elvis is just a dead guy and God is like Santa or the Tooth Fairy >.o

If enough evidence was provided that Elvis was indeed alive- I mean substantial evidence that any reasonable person would believe- yes.
However, among atheists and religious alike it is accepted that the belief of God can only be founded upon a religious faith.
Atheists do not have religious faith so would not believe in God.
However, as any regular person is, they are open to reasonable evidence, so just as any regular person would if presented with sufficient evidence- I see Elvis, a doctor takes his blood, I see a past blood test, it is a match, he is talking to me and moving- then the atheist would believe Elvis is alive just as they would believe in God if provided with sufficient evidence.

True, because with Elvis he was a real person.. and with an atheist, since they can't see God, they assume he's not real. All an atheist has to do is look around, and see the beautiful blue sky, or the sun when it is rising, or feel the first movement of an embroyo inside a woman's body. God is alive and well... . . . He is always just a word away. . .

False, just because you're an atheist doesn't mean you are stupid.

The question of whether God exists or not is something that is personal to everyone but I'm sure even most atheists have questioned their position on the matter at some point in time. And with Elvis ... c'mon he's just dead. I think that's hard to question.

False.

The existence of life after death is as false as saying you've seen or spoken to a powerful sentinent called God.

And why would they keep Elvis alive? JFK, Martin Luther King, Ghandi, and even the atheists Socrates, and Einstein are much more useful alive!

I do not believe, not because I need to replace that belief with something else, but because I have informed myself sufficiently to realise the misinformation and domination many beliefs cause!

False.

Is it really an either/or? Isn't that like asking if it's true or false that a Christian would believe that the Earth is a flat disc at the center of the universe rather than consider for 1 full second that God is not real?
