but if he said God speaks to him THROUGH A HAIRDRYER, we'd assume he was crazy?

Think about it.

I guess some folks are foolish enough to believe that God speaks to those that hold higher elected positions for a government.

That's hilarious. Through a hairdryer.... lol.

He's crazy either way, as far as I'm concerned.

The reason I would think he was crazy if he said God spoke to him through a hair dryer, is that God is not stupid. He knows how crazy that would sound, that it would not be taken seriously, and therefore would not do it. Unless God wanted the guy to sound crazy, in which case he might -- who knows the mind of God?

I don't know the context in which Bush said God spoke to him, or even if he said it. But usually when Christians say that, they don't mean God literally spoke. They just mean that they had a realization of some important fact and attribute it to God's enlightenment.

Schizophrenics hear voices
He should have his Head examined
What ever happened to separation of church & State?
He blatinately disreguards the Constitution and does what he wants to.

It's all a big #&@%#$ joke on us!
Mind you....one that is not funny!

It's only acceptable because he is president of a country where most of the people believe those same delusions. I find it unsettling that someone in such a position of power would allow his "religious experiences" to influence his political decisions.

Because nobody can disprove that a higher power speaks to him, unless he tries to say it happens through an appliance that doesn't have a speaker. That's just foolish.

Unfortunately, I think many people would accept the "hairdryer" theory as fact.
