There are some sites Christian sites that if you chat and you said you 'screwed up' they'd ban you for cussing or warn you to not use that filthy language. Well I was reading something from a cowboy ministry and this lady said we have "screwed" up values.

I don't get it. What's so filthy and profane about saying screwed? It's the same as messed up.

I have a friend at school who constantly makes nasty remarks, mocks me and others and generally says things that make you feel like crap. She will make fun of peoples names, clothes, anything really. She is very judgmental and whines and makes nasty remarks about other people behind there backs. She also boasts about everything and will say things like "haha you lost" or "haha you messed it up." Me and my friend have both politely told her that she needs to stop doing this because we're sick of it and we would like her to treat us with the same respect we treat her with. Both times i have said something to her she has started crying and saying that i am full of crap and denies ever saying anything mean or nasty about anyone.

She also asks for presents and gifts and invitesherself/assumes she's comeing to birthday partys etc.

What am i supposed to say/do to make this stop?

Every time I want to help in the church, they act if its a country club judging people if your not wealthy and popular.I dont own a house thats a big thing to these christisnas. it means your dirt and poor they dont like the poor. they reather you leave then to know about jesus.

Proverbs Chapter 8 infers that God had a partner before the earth was formed, one who took joy in His work. Genesis is usually worded to state that Man was created in Our image, Man and Woman, He created them. Why would God think Man needed a partner, if He did not have one Himself?

U.S. is catching up quick too. And more screwed kids. Of course, what would you expect them to do when you are practically throwing condoms at them when they are still 11 and 12 years old. If you expect them to have sex at that early of an age, they will.

Now we have many translations, how educated is the majority on pure bible?

if a Christian dies and what they have believed about JESUS CHRIST and the bible was false, they become worm food...if what they have believed about JESUS CHRIST is true, they live in a glorious eternity with a loving and awesome GOD for ever and ever. Now for the other scenerio, if an atheist dies and what they have believed about life is true no harm done, they too become worm food...but if Christianity is TRUE, the atheist spends a GODLESS eternity in a place that is not very much fun, according to scripture. This question is for Christians.

Why did God place nontoxic natural organisms such as marijuana and “magic mushrooms” if he did not want them to be used? After reading the bible, I can only remember one fruit that God forbid men from eating, and we all know what happened after that. It seems more logical to think that God created these drugs for the responsible human.

It says somewhere about in heaven, people will Serve Him. I don't like the sound of that. If it has to be at the expense of doing the things I enjoy doing, such as what I enjoy doing or still want to do in this lifetime that I haven't gotten a chance to do yet and if there's no technology or cars there, then I'm not thrilled about it.

I don't mind praising and and thanking God once in while, but only when I have something to thank him for, like FREEDOM to do as I please and accomplish my wishlist of things.

One last question about Jesus:

The prophecy (if that is what it is) does not refer to the Messiah, but rather to a military leader, as can be seen from Micah 5:6. This leader is supposed to defeat the Assyrians, which, to my knowledge Jesus never did.

I was raised in a religious family but Im not ultra religious myself. I really love Christmas though because of all the lights and gifts and stuff. I dont understand why other nonreligious people dislike it so much? Why cant everyone just enjoy a really cool holiday. Just do the santa commercial thing and throw parties and such you know?
