For a hymn or spiritual song, it's "The Coventry Carol".
For a pop song, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Many people today don't realize it was meant to be a sad song. It was originally performed in the movie "Meet Me In St Louis" and sung by Judy Garland during a difficult time the family was experiencing. Watch it if you can!

Some song that I heard yesterday for the 1st time. It was a country song/ singer singing about a child wanting his dad home for Christmas and for his mom to stop crying b/c she missed him. The dad was in Iraq.
My hubby was there for 2 Christmas' so I was able to relate and it hit me pretty hard, enough to bring tears to my eyes.

Santa Baby, it's sad because that reminds me of how materialistic and spoiled people can be and how sexed up they can make anything, even the most special and innocent holiday.
