Those "three" are rooted to existence of Abraham. Anyone can imagine IF science proved that
1. Abrahama does not exist, or
2. Abraham exist with different story with what the holy book tell about.

I've seen both, I've asked people and nobody seems to know the answer. Please, serious answers ONLY.

If you don't know the answer, abstain from replying.

Thank you very much.

What exactly do you think you live for? I mean, there are many things, but I'm just curious about everyone's opinion on this is.

For me, personally, I live for God!

I would like to hear mostly from Christians but anyone is welcome to answer... I was raised Roman Catholic. I was very devout for many years but began to drift away about five years ago and found that 'The Craft of the Wise' is more along the lines of my belief system. When I was a seventh grader in a Catholic school I was told about the evils of witchcraft and to stay away from it! In my high school years, I picked up a book about witchcraft and realized that everything I had been told was untrue. Obviously, the teachers who told us to stay away did not know what they were talking about... I find that witchcraft really embraces my spiritualism and strengthens my connection with mother earth. Please share with us your own religious/spiritual background and what your educated feelings and thoughts are pertaining to this question... Thank you : )

Been there twice before and I was amazed at how false the old world view about America being the "...land of the free and home of the brave". I found nothing but, overcrowded noisy, polluted cities, a HUGE homeless problem, a country crippled by its own gluttery, a country domestically on its knees struggling to look after its own ! Seriously, you guys have to do something about the number of homeless plaguing the cities SFO & NYC imparticular, nothing like Sydney ! I've never felt luckier living in Australia.

I love to pray for other people, especially when I am at work and think about my co-workers. I do go home at times feeling weighed down in my heart because I love them all so much and want them all to find Jesus. Do you as Christians experience the same feelings also, when you are praying for others?

When I was in grade school, a neighbor girl used to come over and play. She told me her name was Renee but I heard, "Grenade" so for the longest time I called her Grenade. I'll never forget (thinking back) to my mom trying to keep from laughing as she asked, "Are you sure her name isn't RENEE?" I said, "No, it's Grenade, she told me."

Sisters boyfriend was named Jade, their friend called him "Jay" for a long time before he finally saw Jade write his name and asked, "Is that your name JADE? I've been calling you Jay."

Got any good stories to share?

My fiance is Jewish, and despite our difference in religion (I'm Christian) we are deeply in love and plan to get married. Although we have agreed not to push each other's religion on each other, I am tempted to baptize him while he sleeps. Is this wrong? Would it even be recognized by God? I have already asked him if he would consider it willingly, but he refuses.

One of six Christian ministries under investigation by a Senate committee is rebuffing inquiries into its spending. These big churches have private planes with ministers living in monstrous mansions and not paying income tax.

What are some pet peeves? I guess maybe I'm just annoyed and feel like venting, so here goes:

When people don't answer the question at hand- they focus on a completely different aspect instead of responding to what the original question was.
When people lick their fingers to seperate pages, count money, whatever. That's so unsanitary and disgusting.
People who say "HAH?" all loud instead of just saying "what" or "huh" in a normal tone of voice.
When people don't wait until the teller (that'd be me) or cashier or whomever is ready for them, and just come right up like it's their right to. Wait your turn, because we need to put sensitive paperwork for the person before you away before you can see it, just like we'll give you the courtesy of doing before we wait on the next person.
People who give thumbs down on OPINIONS (ie favorite tv show) on yahoo answers.
When peoply argue a point just to be contrary, not because they really believe it, they just want to disagree with you.

I answered another question about Mormons believeing in the bible or not and I mentioned that the Book of Mormon was a parrallel of the bible and got a lot of flack. Then I asked "If it's not a parallel, then why does it follow the timeline of the bible and mention all the bible charicters at the parallel times, and why doesn't the bible mention any of the added Book of Mormon charicters?
- I have read it by the way and I don't require any explainations of the faith to prove it's right, just justify why the bible doesn't mention it. Thanks.
