Yes, it takes more "faith" to believe otherwise!

I'm shaking my head in disbelief that creationism is being earnestly put forward as a credible theory and then discussed with fervour and import that implies it carries any weight outside of religious belief.
Out of all of the religious beliefs, this one is a truly and verifiably stupid belief. You would only entertain this nonsense if you have swallowed your chosen religious text whole without chewing or digesting.
Get ahold of yourselves; and I really do mean that in the kindest possible way. Just because other people think you foolish, doesn't make you right. If that were so, you'd be incontrvertibly correct by force of numbers.

God commanded the waters and the earth to bring forth.
He never said LET THE BIRDS COME OUT OF NOWHERE.
so if you look at it that way, even if ABIOGENESIS was true, you can step back and say. God said that thousands of years ago..
Anyway neither side has no observatory evidence, all is really just basing it off things that can go for either side. or can be forced by either side.
what matters is you love your neighbor as yourself
you forgive everyone
and you help those in need.
do that and you will live well.
In Christ Yeshua.
Grace and Peace.

Yes, I believe in Creation, but I'm not sure that I would say the "majority of people in the world" believe in Creation.
What's your source for that fact?

Yes considering that Muslims and Christians are 2/3 of the world's population.
If 2/3 is not a majority, I don't know what it is...

i think of there is credibility to the declare. it isn't any longer like it makes a real distinction to me. all of us makes errors. it style of sounds like those with greater money only enlarge errors. i'd assume a media bias regardless of who controlled the media, easily. in case you like a business enterprise to love that to benefit, do no longer you desire to furnish something which will human beings purchase your product? And, would not you desire to maximise your revenue by ability of making it the final product around? one element human beings in many circumstances ignore to contemplate relating to the information is that that's no longer something greater advantageous than a product. Use it properly. you're a fool, in case you assume thoroughly impartial perspectives from the undemanding individual. Why would human beings have confidence the information so implicitly? Rick Sanchez bit that hand that fed him, and that's no person's fault yet his very own.

Judging from the number of creation vs non-creation religions that are currently active in the world today, I'd say yes, but then I haven't had time to ask everybody in the world about what they believe yet.

I have to disagree.
While I believe in God's creative power in instantiating (ie starting) the universe, from reading the questions here in R&S, I'm thinking that the majority of people do not actually believe that God alone created the universe, and formulated (or reformulated) the earth in six literal 24-hour days.

I agree that there is a big group of people who believe in creation.
I don't agree with the belief. Old civilizations have a lower probability of correctly explaining the beginning than we do. Since we have very low chances of explaining our origins, thousands of years ago, people had no chance whatsoever. In fact, it sounds like a fairytale, not a fact. Santa clause isn't real, nor is God.

Most believe in a creation of some sort although the Hindu view of creation is a bit different. It's more of a continuous process of creation, destruction and re-creation.

You are aware there are 4 billion people who aren't Christians right? And no, they're not all atheists either. Believe it or not, there's more than Christians, Muslims, and atheists. And among those who are Christians, there is a significant amount of them who don't believe in it literally.
